O R D E R :

In the reference first read above, the Government of India,
Ministry of Labour & Employment, Directorate General of Employment &
Training, New Delhi have issued certain guidelines for conversion of
Centres of Excellence (COE) Course to Craftsmen Training Scheme
(CTS) Course on the recommendations of Working Group constituted for
the purpose.

2. In the letter second read above, the Director, Employment &
Training, Hyderabad has submitted proposal to Government for issue of
necessary orders in the matter.

3. The Government, after careful examination of the matter hereby
order, for conversion of Centres of Excellence (COE) Course to
Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) Course in the Industrial Training
Institutes (ITIs) imparting training in COE Course in Telangana State,
as hereunder:

a) To stop admissions in Centres of Excellence (COE) courses from
August 2014 itself.

b) To facilitate the Institutes covered under CoE to revive old-
surrendered trades or they could also opt for newly designed
trades based on the recommendations of mentor councils and
availability of machine equipment in advance modules. Trades
based on revived units would be treated as affiliated. Similarly,
trades based on advance modules would be treated as affiliated
provided advance modules are affiliated.

c) to issue an amendment circular to the ITIs in lieu of the
Notification already issued by the Commissioner of Employment &
Training, Hyderabad, for admissions dated: 10.06.2014.

d) Any other appropriate steps as may be desirable.

4. The Director of Employment & Training, Telangana State,
Hyderabad shall take necessary further action in the matter accordingly.
