Business situation and Digité Rollout:
Nearly 80% of the project teams at Proteans follow Agile Scrum
methodology & it was a big challenge for their management to
enforce Digité across all the project teams as their clients
mandated them to use other 3rd party agile solutions to deliver
the projects.
Some of the industry’s best agile solutions like RallyDev, TFS
(Team Foundation Server by Microsoft) were being used by
multiple project teams to manage & deliver their agile projects
& the Proteans management had a big task to convince their
project teams to switch over to Digité. This initiative led them
to take up a major long-term project named ‘Aradya’ to be
implemented using Agile methodology using Digité which was
in fact accepted by their global customers.
The process started with the Requirement Gathering for Aradya
Project during which we interacted with all the key stakeholders
of this project to understand their respective roles &

responsibilities. Their main objective was to

manage the project using agile methodology as a
new set of requirements used to come from their Envisioned Value
Customer every 2 weeks & this project team had
to deliver them in a short span of time. Automation of Agile

which the Digité Consultant configured the agile
Effective tracking of Effort spent by
model for Aradya project as per their project teams on their respective

their Customer were trained to use Digité to track Clear top management view across all
the project & within a month the whole team project teams on their Resource
started using Digité. The positive response from loading, Resource allocation,
this project made other teams to take steps to Resource Utilization
roll-out their projects in Digité.

The Top management got the top-down visibility

of the project. Project Managers were able to monitor their projects and track the effort spent
by resources. The challenge of implementing Organization-wide discipline for tracking time by
every single resource started to look like a reality within just few months of Digité usage.
