Music in the Barns returns with special not-to-be-missed musical guests

November 29 performance set in-the-round for a uniquely intimate concert experience
TORONTO Music in the Barns returns to the magnificent Artscape Wychwood Barns for a special
collaborative performance featuring renowned concert artists Moshe Hammer, violin and Cullan
Bryant, piano joining forces with the Music in the Barns Chamber Ensemble. Torontos essential destination
for groundbreaking performances outside of the traditional concert hall, Music in the Barns returns to their
classical roots after last years hailed season of innovative, boundary pushing performances featuring 21st
century Canadian composition.
This elegant evening of classical chamber music offers a sophisticated combination of repertoire that
journeys from solo to chamber works, boldly opening with Beethovens classic Moonlight Piano Sonata and
culminating in Dvoraks celebrated Piano Quintet in A major. Guest performers Mr. Bryant, one of New York
Citys most active collaborative pianists, and Torontos world-renowned violinist, Mr. Hammer, partner for an
unforgettable performance of Debussys final composition, his Violin Sonata in G minor.
Music in the Barns is known for bringing the concert experience into new social and experiential spheres and
this concert is no different. Transforming the dramatic 7,500 sq. ft. warehouse Mainspace of the Artscape
Wychwood Barns, the evenings performance will be set in-the-round for an unparalleled, up-close chamber
music experience. Guests are also encouraged to enjoy a glass of wine as they take in the spectacular
sounds and surroundings. As an added attraction, New York City artist, Lana Jean Israels (her 1985
collage image is featured on the concert poster) progressive projection designs will be on display at the post-
