1.Works as a Zonal technical manager,Leading a team of 6 O&M Engineers, 3 RF Engineers ,7
technicians and 5 Riggers comes under 4DHQs of Cochin Zone with 5 BSCs and a Site count
of 648-2G and 225-3G Tata Docomo Sitesand 625 MW Hops (SDH &PDH) with High capacity
Muxes of Huawei and Multi vendors.
2. Taking care of Operation and maintainace of Huawei 2G (BTS) &3G (Node-B) equipments
and also multi vendor equipments such as NEC-MW, ECI -MW and Alcatel MUX etc.
3. Arranging Onsite training for the team members.
4.Supporting Projects for reaching the monthly targets by E1 extension, siteIntegration, BSC
site Migrations, MUXupgradations, MW Hop upgradations etc by raising proper work orders and
Change requests in the MOS tool provided by the company as a part of process.

6. Ensuring 100% protection for all the 2G and 3G sites in terms of Implementing MW Ring
/Fiber etc and having a health checking mechanism frequently.
7. Carrying out Quarterly PM and segregating the Issues in terms BSS/MW/MUX/INFRA etc and
taking corrective actions against the same by doing VSWR measurements and BER test.
8. Weekly meeting & Daily interaction with the Customer Technical and Sales team for knowing
the Issues and giving proper solutions in terms of Coverage /Optimization/BW
Upgradations/Emergency Site integrations etc and circulating the MOM.
9. Having internal meetings with cross functional departments twice in a Week for Customer
satisfaction.
10. Incharge for circle NOC (local OMCR) and following the Incident /Fault management
process based on the severity of Faults and maintaining the SLA internally and also agreed with
Customer.
11. Monitoring the Escalation process of Circle NOC and GNOC team biweekly by verifying with
the Escalation matrix shared, Daily Outage reports shared by both, TTs pending report for
closure, Outages exceeding the SLAs etc and giving suggestions if any deviations observed.
12. Also monitoring the outage escalations based on the severity level defined as Emergency,
Critical, Major and Minor Categories and informing to the shift manager if any deviations
observed.
13. Preparing the MIR (Major Incident report) based on the severity level of outages and sharing
it to GNOC team and Customer team.
14. Participating weekly con call initiated by GNOC team and escalating the issues observed in
the Incident management process and also sharing & receiving suggestions forImprovement.
15. Dailyverification and validation of reports shared by GNOC team.
16. Monitoring of the KPI performance reports and taking corrective actions for the deviation
observed cases.
17. Performing fiber path upgradations, AT, Powertest with optical power meter etc in
coordination with OSP team.

Worked as a Transmission O&M -SPOC and Circle Trainerfor both Kerala and

Taking care of the Operation and Maintainace of Ericsson Transmission Equipments and

Taking care of the NMS (MLM Manager) part of the live Network Transmission Nodes

Escalating the critical and major alarms /RSL Variations in the live network to the field
team for avoiding major /Critical outages in Advance.
Having a site visit in the Selected Clusters/DHQs every month and ensuring the stability
of N/W in terms of Updated Software/Zero alarms/Disabled the Unused E1s /Power
protection to the TXMN Nodes etc and In case any Deviation ,the same things are
escalating to the respective cluster managers.
Co-ordinating with circle Planning team and Core team for BSC migrations.

upgradations/E1 extension etc.
Having meeting with Circle Projects team, Customer and Internal TXMN-Planning team
for Leased line surrendering ,Provisioning of BW for BSC site Migrations or integrating
New sites and sharing the details to the field as per requirement and implementing the
same.
Take part in the BSC upgradation activities such as card addition and STM
Augmentation.
Efficiently use tools like Win FIOL, OSS, and MLMmanager.

Nov 2006 Oct 2007Deputy Manager I&C,Reliance communications, Cochin.

Role was an I&C Engineer doing Testing, Commissioning and Integration of Various
Transmission Equipments and CDMA BTS Lucent (Modcell -3 and Modcell-4).
Swapping of BTS used in the Reliance network as per the Circle Planning requirement.
Operation& maintenance of SDH Nortel Optical Transmission Equipments (Digital Cross
connect, LH, OM4200 (STM 16 capacity), OM4100 (STM4 capacity), TN1X (STM1
capacity), TN1C (STM1 capacity).
Special Role-:
Done the Circle Co-ordination for LMDS, UBR (Transmission Equipments for Customer
connectivity).
Worked as a Team Lead For all the clusters in kerala having 5 to 6 members reporting
from different clutters for this connectivity.
