HISTORY
The history of Zamfrescu Raco\i
Predoiu is a story of teamwork,
shared vision and innovation.
The frms roots trace back to 1995, very soon after the legal profession was liberalized in Romania. At that
time, two future top law frms Zamfrescu & Partners and Raco\i-Predoiu - started their journey of building a
mature business law practice with an international reputation.
Zamfrescu & Partners was founded by C[lin-Andrei Zamfrescu and Ariana Zamfrescu, two attorneys with
over 25 years of legal practice. A third partner, Stan Trnoveanu, a specialist in banking law, joined at a later
stage. Beneftting from the three attorneys legal acumen and reputation, the frm quickly became a leader in
dispute resolution, arbitration, banking, fnance and insolvency.
Raco\i-Predoiu was founded by Ioana Raco\i and C[t[lin Predoiu, two young attorneys, who already at that
time enjoyed the reputation as specialists in commercial transactions. The law frm rapidly developed into a
key player in the feld of mergers, acquisitions and privatizations, and gradually extended its services in the
transactions on the capital market, in banking and fnance, as well as in energy and natural resources.
The need to grow, a common vision and mutual respect brought the two frms together in 2005, when
the full merger was realized. The resulting partnership has continued its work founded on integrity, talent,
professionalism, dedication and innovation.
More than 38 lawyers and 27 staff members work together in a common endeavor to provide clients with
superior counsel and to achieve outstanding, creative, pragmatic and timely results.

C[lin-Andrei ZAMFIRESCU Senior Partner
C[lin-Andrei Zamfrescu is one of Romanias most well-reputed lawyers, a litigator with extensive
courtroom experience. He concentrates his practice primarily in the area of arbitration, litigation
and dispute resolution, covering the broad spectrum of disputes in banking, fnance and insolvency,
liquidation and bankruptcy. The international nature of C[lins work refers to his involvement in
arbitration hearings in a wide variety of jurisdictions, including Milan, Paris, London and New York.

Anca Maria DANILESCU Partner
Anca Danilescu has developed a signifcant practice in project fnance, general corporate and

Anca was also involved in complex transactions ranging from cross-border business ventures to

Cosmin VASILE Partner
Cosmin Vasile acts as special counsel in commercial litigation and commercial disputes. He has
