Pope Francis Pro Life
All too often, as we know from experience, people
do not choose life, they do not accept the Gospel of
Life but let themselves be led by ideologies and
ways of thinking that block life, that do not respect
life, because they are dictated by selfishness, self-
interest, profit, power and pleasure, and not by love,
by concern for the good of others.
As a result, the living God is replaced by fleeting
human idols which offer the intoxication of a flash
of freedom, but in the end bring new forms of slav-
ery and death.

An Election Prayer to Mary

O Most Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy, at
this most critical time, we entrust the United States
of America to your loving care.

Most Holy Mother, we beg you to reclaim this land
for the glory of your Son. Overwhelmed with the
burden of the sins of our nation, we cry to you from
the depths of our hearts and seek refuge in your
motherly protection.

Look down with mercy upon us and touch the hearts
of our people. Open our minds to the great worth of
human life and to the responsibilities that accompany
human freedom.

Free us from the falsehoods that lead to the evil of
abortion and threaten the sanctity of family life.
Grant our country the wisdom to proclaim that Gods
law is the foundation on which this nation was
founded, and that He alone is the True Source of our
cherished rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of hap-
piness.

O Merciful Mother, give us the courage to reject the
culture of death and the strength to build a new Cul-
ture of Life.

Amen

Mass Intentions
As Catholics, we have a long tradition of having Masses celebrated for those we wish to offer up in prayer.
The Mass is the ultimate form of prayer, and each Mass is celebrated for an intention. We ask $10.00 per
mass intention.
Please consider having Masses celebrated for family and friends on special occasions and anniversaries, as
well as those who are in need of prayers. Masses are also encouraged in memory of those loved ones who
have died, especially on the anniversaries of their deaths. Contact Fr. Cory for more information!

Stewardship

November 2, 2014 - All Soul's Day

"Those who trust in him will understand truth, and the
faithful will abide with him in love, because grace and
mercy are upon his elect, and he watches over his holy
ones." - Wisdom of Solomon 3:9

Here's the ironic thing about people who are generous.
Those that give freely and cheerfully do not do it to be
rewarded. They do it to show their love for God and
their neighbors. Yet, because of their generosity, they
typically are given more than they gave away!

so, pay close attention to the scripture reading. The
good news - it's not too late to put God first in your life.

ExamenA Way To Pray
1. Pray for light.Begin by asking God for the
grace to pray, to see, and to understand.
2. Give Thanks.Look at your day in a spirit of
gratitude. Everything is a gift from God.
3. Review the day.Guided by the Holy Spirit,
look back on your day. Pay attention to your
experience. Look for God in it.
4. Look at whats wrong.Face up to failures and
shortcomings. Ask for forgiveness for your
faults. Ask God to show you ways to improve.
5. Resolve what to do in the day to comeWhere
do you need God today? What can you do to-
day.?
