purpose of this course is to develop student’s ability in reading and understanding technical papers, and in
researching and presenting the result to the audience in a seminar. The students must also attend seminars given by
distinguished scholars which are arranged by the Faculty of Engineering or School of Graduate Studies. From such
seminars, the students can learn about the works of other scholars, gain a broader view point and develop self-
confidence in presentation of one's work.
