Ive trying to think for a lot of time, what qualifies as an excusable crime and

what doesnt. Even the law recognizes this difference and we have 2 sets of
laws, first is the set civil laws and the other is criminal laws. I!", but the
distinction is very clear. #imilarly, we have cognizable offence and non$
cognizable offences, but again I!", and this aint a law %ost.
&y discussion isnt legal, it doesnt aim to be a moral one either. Im no one to
challenge the big thinker on morality.
I am 'ust trying to %resent, res i%sa loquitur if you wish to qualify it. (hen we see
something, that looks wrong on the face, do we qualify it as an excusable or
non$excusable act or characteristic. )I dont want to 'um% to calling it an offence
yet.*
+oing further, what is the criteria, that should be used to decide, if these acts
are anti$India, or not..ie. ,hey may not classify and %ro$India, but they may fall
under neither %ro$India nor anti$India.
"ets look at some exam%les.
-* .reaking some traffic laws are minor offences by law, 'um%ing the signal,
'aywalking, lane cutting etc..
2* %ick%ocket is sent to 'ail, while a multi million scamster gets a fair trial and
ends u% scot$free..
.ut, these are so common and so frequent, and what is the cost of such acts/
%art from endangering lives of self and others, what is the cost of such acts on
the economy, does it affect national fuel consum%tion, does it affect tourism
because some %eo%le may %erceive it hazardous to travel to India, of course,
taking into account o%%ortunity cost, are we better off having such acts, or
without it/
(hat is the %sychological im%act of such acts, do elderly fear crossing the
streets, does it mean that they burn more fuel trying to get into some %ublic
trans%ort instead of walking safely/ 0oes it mean, some drivers become
reckless, while others fear to drive itself/ 0oes this affect someones morale at
work/
0o %eo%le think before taking on a new endeavor, does it encourage %eo%le to
undertake larger scams rather than smaller ones/ (hat ha%%ens as country,
again o%%ortunity cost wise, do we fear something or we dont fear something/
(hich way are we better off.
,hese are 'ust 2 exam%les, but there are a%lenty.
"ets get back to the main question, having considered costs v1s benefits v1s
losses, how do we classify any act as %ro$India or anti$India. "egal and moral
are 2 as%ects we always are aware of. #omething which is com%letely legal,
doesnt mean it is moral, and all such combinations are always evaluated.
(hat about considering, whether it is %ro$India, neutral, or anti$India, aside from
questioning, whether it is legal or moral..
nd what about the first as%ect, whether raising such a question, is itself legal,
moral, and %rocountry, or ignoring such question is not2 or is it/
