This week New York State mailed out checks for Property Tax Freeze Creditwont you please con- sider sharing by passing it along to help us keep the interfaith food pantry and winter breakfast pro- gram running this winter. The Pantry Advisory Committee is busy ordering items for our annual holiday baskets that we give each guest in the food pantry during the month of December. We are asking for donations of cake mixes this year to satisfy everyones sweet tooth. Empty Bowls is back for its second year. It will take place on January 25th, 2015. This event is an annual fundraiser and combined event that will benefit FOCUS Churches of Albany and Hunger Action Network of New York State. Admission to the event includes a handcrafted bowl from a local artist and soup made by the Chefs Consortium. More details to be announced.
