BAGB4043 Safety and Health Administration- Assignment

This assignment is to enhance students understanding on Safety and health aspects at

workplace. For the purpose of this assignment, students are required to form into a
group of 3 to 4. In a group based on ergonomics concept, students are required to
prepare and design a 3D office layout and design with ergonomics furniture.

In preparing and designing the 3D office model students are required to do a research on
ergonomics. Students must ensure the 3D office model design fulfill the ergonomics standards.
The following factors must be addressed:
Consider ergonomic factors as you design and furnish the work space. The office lay
out and design must be able to avoid and prevent employee from Postural discomfort
and musculoskeletal injury (lighting, space, width)
furniture must address human factors such as eye, wrist, hand, and posture strain.
Examine the correlation between productivity and the value of health-enhancing
practices. The value of regular breaks and physical exercise, and other measures that
are available to help manage stress may be considered.
The quality of the design must able to reduce employee stress
