What do people cherish about AAU?
I always think about AAU as my political heart and home. It was the first program I was a part of that took youth seriously . . . and taught us how to express ourselves and organize, which is a life- long skill. Dao X. Tran, 1989 AAU Summer Program alumna
I used to not like to express ideas in front of others. I used to not think it was important if people hear you agree or disagree, but now I feel more confident standing up for what I believe. Ling Lin, 2010 AAU Summer Program alumna
Mid-Autumn Festival has been AAUs great gift to the Chinatown community, and the community has truly made it their own. Debora Kodish, Executive Director, Philadelphia Folklore Project
