my ideas for my final production, allowing me to tailor it my target audience.

1) What appeals to you about the social realism genre?

2) My idea is developed around a boy who has left home and is now living on what he can.

leave. Which characters voices do you think would be the most effect for this?

a) Mother
b) Father
c) Brother/Sister
d) Teacher
e) A friend/school acquaintance

3) The boy is living out of a bag with limited food and the rest of the plot is how he got into
his situation of being homeless. Give a name to this film.

which he was responsible for?

a) Alone
b) With a younger sibling

5) Do you prefer titles e.g. directed by Lorna Summerscales to be in with the action and
over the top of the film or on a separate cut away from the action, such as on a black
screen?

6) Is an existing track preferred or a combination of different sounds and effects, which
build to make a track to fit to the action shown on screen?

7) If existing track was selected for question 6, describe what type of song should be
selected, what genre, should it be well known, should it have lyrics and any suggestions.

expect alongside the film.

9) At what time of day do you think would best suit filming for my chosen idea?

a) In the morning (sunrise)
b) In the afternoon
c) Dusk

10) Where do you think the story should begin after the introduction of the boys current
state?

a) His home with his family
b) His school with his friends
c) The same setting, just with him wearing better clothing, such as a school uniform and
perhaps with friends

11) Should the opening sequence contain any transitions between shots such as cross
dissolves, or should it only be cuts?
a) Cross dissolves included
b) Just cuts

12) Are there any other ideas you have, after hearing my plot idea, which I could include in
my opening sequence?
