leading software company who wants to transform
itself into a learning organisation and it takes
various steps to achieve that goal. This case
depicts that excel established excel development
center for training and upgradation of the
employees. This center provides world-class
facilities to the employees for continuous learning.
It also hires professionals for providing quality
programs to the employees.

and development center called excel development
center to transform itself into a learning
organization and various aspects have been
followed to attain this goal:

(edc) for continuous learning.

associations which helps its employees to develop
the competencies required to meet the challenges
posed by the ever changing environment.

There are various points which denote that
excel should not transform into a learning
organization:
1. There is lot of risk involved in it as learning
organization may not able to withstand in the
everchanging environment.
2. More cost is involved for the training of the
employees.
3. Cost is greater then the benefits derived.
4. Professionals such as technologists,
academicians and behavioural researchers are
to be hired for quality training programs for
the employees.
It can be concluded at the end that
excel computer services should not transform
its business as a lot of risk is involved because
of the ever changing environment.
