Research is a continuous process undertaken by an individual or a team of persons


probing into the never ending, newer avenues of science. Many people known and
unknown have contributed to the strengths of the dissertation. It is the matter of
pride and elation for me to acknowledge the contribution of those individuals who
have been inspirational, supportive and helpful throughout my work, and endowed
me most precious knowledge to see success in my endeavor. My work bears the share
of all those people and I am heartily grateful to all of them.

In the first place I would like to record my gratitude to Dr. Navin Sheth, Head and
Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Saurashtra University, Rajkot,
for his consent, motivation and suggestions. Above all the most needed, he provided
me unflinching encouragement and support in various ways. His truly scientific
intuition has made him as a constant oasis of ideas and passions in science, which
exceptionally inspire and enrich my growth as a student and researcher. I am

M.Pharma dissertation work within a well-established organization along with his

I am especially thankful to my classmates. They inspired me, encouraged me in a


variety of ways, their love ,care, patience, guidance and support have always been
strength for me, without their helpful co-operation and suggestions from time that I
needed it was difficult for me to complete my work.

Last but not least, I express my heartiest regards to my father Mr. Lalabhai B. Patel
and my Mother Mrs. Laxmiben L. Patel for their energetic, moral and economical
support that boosted my spirits. It is because of them I have reached the place where
I am today. I am very much thankful to my brother Manoj, my bhabhi Gaytriben and
my sisters Chetana and Varsha, my fiancée Dr. Neha patel for their immense love,
care, emotional support and confidence that they infused in me, without whom this
momentous work could not have been completed.
