andwesternboundariesoftheDistrictarewelldefinedbytherivers.TheBetwaflowsalongtheeastern
boundaryseparatingfromSagarDistrict,andLalitpurandJhansiDistrictofUttarPradesh.TheSindhis
themainriverflowingalongthewesternboundary.Chanderiisfamousforitsexquisiteanddelicate
muslinindustryisapartofthedistrict
AshoknagarDistrictisdividedintofourBlocksandhaspopulationof688940spreadoverareaof
4673.94sq.Km.

Esagarh:EsagarhisoneofthedistrictsinAshoknagar.Theytehsilhasaveryprofoundtrustcalledthe
Anandpurtrust,anNGOwhichhasopeneditsownschoolandhospital.
Chanderi:KnownthroughouttheIndiafortheproductionofsilksarees,Chanderiformsadistincttourist
attraction.RajgarhdamontheBetwariver,availableinthevicinitymakesitsfertilelandevenmore
productive.
Mungaoli:Mungaoliisanothertehsilinthetribalbelt.Interactingwiththepeoplewiththedifferent

ambition.Theycanrarelyseethebenefits/returnsoflongtermschemeslikeeducationorinsurance

Rurallifeisaninseparablepartofourcountryandultimately,ofus.Hence,whenencounteredthe
variouswaysoflifeinvillages,wecouldunderstandthedifferencebetweenwasting100Rs.inadayand
spendingonly100Rs.perday.Also,ithighlightedthescopeforimprovementthewholesystemof
governancehasinthiscountry.Wenotonlyfeltnearnesstothepeoplestayingfarbehindtechnology
butwewereamazedbythewaytheseseeminglyilliteratepeoplehadadoptedtotheharshnatural
habitatsthroughdoingoutoftheboxengineeringormanagement.
