Game of natural selection

someone easier. But in the game of natural selection your opponent is always Death, and if you
don’t win you can’t play. The game is rough, and there are many more losers than survivors. To
be born is to find oneself in the arena.”-The Vitamin Book by Rich Wentzler
Definitely, Wentzler is correct.
In the ancient days, life could reach the age of 969 years, now, there are unborn who died
without seeing the light. Abortion is allowed in some countries. In this nation religious leaders
opposed the Bill to allow abortion or even using contraceptives. However, several religious
leaders are committing fornication and probably using condom. Hypocrites!
In the game of natural selection, some religious leaders as predicted in the Holy
Scriptures violate the Constitution, the separation of the church and state. They dictated
government officials in making decisions. That religious leader is known to have been using his
position to promote the political ambition of the person he wants to rule. But, after the person
holds office, he dictates. What kind of a religious leader this man is? Is he a man of the true God
or of the false god?
He doesn’t want the physician forgiven by the very person who perceived she (physician)
committed the mistake. What for is the preaching done by Jesus Christ to forgive; which was the
very essence of Christ coming to earth? We are all sinners. No one among us is perfect, because
if there is one who will come out and say he is perfect, except the person named Perfecto, he is a
liar. He is blaspheming the Supreme God who is the only perfect one in the universe.
Remember Satan is an angel turned devil because of ambitiousness to be like God. Same
thing is happening to this religious priest who is acting as if he is the devil representative here on
earth. Is he? Or could he really be?
I do not want to name this religious leader in the Province of Leyte who is the subject,
because I know several good religious leaders in the province are good. One of good religious
leaders is Msgr. Adan Apostol, now in Tacloban City. He is not only a namesake of the first
person, but also an apostle. That is how are relation could be measured. We joke to smile to keep
the youth in our faces. We have known each other in the 1980s while he was in Albuera, Leyte.
He doesn’t intervene with the government functions in the said municipality. He is good in my
own category, but he is likewise imperfect as the rest of human beings are.
Another is Msgr. Pastor Cotiangco of Fatima Church, Brgy. Cogon, Ormoc City, will
celebrate his 50 years in priesthood next year. He is one of those religious leaders who have a
good record that opposing politicians like him. He doesn’t intervene in running the government.
He only criticized government officials to change; which willingly because of the constructive
criticism is being followed.
Now in the game of natural selection, the bad religious leader should make changes in his
attitude. It is not forever that he could cling to politicians; moreover that is not his job. He should
concentrate on trying to reform the criminals in the provincial jail to be responsible citizen when
they return to society. He should not persecute anyone. He should be like Christ Jesus who had
forgiven Maria Magdalene, the prostitute. He should not be like Judas the rotten apostle.
In the game of natural selection, Wentzler did not write about religious leaders mingling
with the state affairs. He wrote to keep health in good shape, natural foods are better than
supplements. That Vitamin Book of Wentzler is part of my good health. I bought it in Saudi
Arabia way back in 1981. Since that date, from time to time I have been reading it, just like the
Holy Bible. Let me quote portion of the conclusion.
“If you try a vitamin for a little while and it doesn’t work, stop taking it. If you have a
deficiency in something else and you try going through the other fifty or so nutrients to find
which it is, you could die first.
“And if it does work then you know you had a deficiency and it wasn’t a deficiency of
vitamin pills, it was a deficiency of a certain kind of food and food is a lot more complicated
than pills. That deficiency you got was just the first one in line; others are waiting to gang up on
you. So you can’t really treat anything with vitamin pills for long, and if you’re not feeling as
good as you know you could, it’s only a matter of how long it’s going to take you to do
something about the way you eat.
 “Man can make jars of flawlessly translucent glass and pills with purity exceeding
0.0001%. He can coat them with any color of the rainbow….
“But only God can make a carrot.”
So with the religious leader who acts like a governor or dictates to the governor, he can
do it as long as he wants to, but only God can make human being perfect. (Email
