in Winslow Township. A call was received in before 4:00 am on Monday. A woman was
reported unconscious at a home. When the paramedics arrived and knocked the front

An army veteran was killed after celebrating the recent return from Afghanistan in Los
Angeles.

neighborhood in Los Angeles while he was celebrating his homecoming from the war.

pulled up and yelled at him before shooting him. Garcia was pronounced dead at the
scene. The ironies are obvious, Los Angeles Police Department Lt. Paul Vernon told to
the KTLA-TV in Los Angeles. To survive as a soldier in an overseas conflict, only to
be killed in your old neighborhood upon your return. Authorities interviewed several
witnesses and collected evidence, including several bullet casings. There were not other
people injured in this case..
