by a person responsible for their safety.
Young children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.

Carefully read all of the instructions

provided with your appliance.
Always turn the power off at the power
outlet before you insert or remove a
plug. Remove by grasping the plug do not pull on the cord.

Electric Blanket Safety Precautions

Troubleshooting
If your electric blanket fails to heat,
please check the following:
1. Check that the power cord is properly
connected to the power outlet and the
power is switched on.
2. If the electric blanket is plugged into a
residual current device (RCD) that is
plugged into the power outlet, ensure
that the RCD has not been tripped.
You may need to reset the RCD in
order for it to supply power to the
electric blanket.

Hub operation lights:

The hub has three lights that have different
illumination modes depending on what
function the hub is performing.

zone

Zone A Light (BLUE)

zone

Zone B Light (PINK)

Power Light

Synchronising the Main & Mini remotes:

It is possible for the Main & Mini remotes to
become out-of-sync with each other. For
example when the mini remote is used to adjust
the heat setting for the B zone, the new heating
setting may not be accurately reflected on the
LCD display of the Main (A) remote. To re-sync
the remotes:
1. Simply select the B zone using the Main
remote and press the Standby button.
The remotes are now synchronised and
you can select your desired setting.

14

Only use as an underblanket.

Do not use the electric blanket on or

under a waterbed.

Check the electric blanket is smooth, flat

and properly secured on the mattress
each day. Do not use if the blanket is
folded, rucked or creased.

Ensure the electric blanket is switched

off and unplugged after use.

Do not use with a helpless person,

an infant, an infirm person, or a
person insensitive to heat.
Do not switch the blanket on if moist or
wet.
Do not allow the blanket heating wires to
extend over the edge of the mattress.
Do not use pins, needles, safety pins or
other sharp items on the electric blanket.
Do not dry clean the electric blanket.

This electric blanket is for domestic use

and is not intended for use in hospitals.

4. Check that the ON/OFF switch on

the hub is turned ON.

6. If the LOW symbol is displayed on the

Main remote LCD, the 2x AAA batteries
need to be replaced with new batteries.
The Mini remote has a low battery indicator
LED that flashes when the 2x AAA batteries
need to be replaced with new batteries.

Do not use the electric blanket on a

futon or adjustable bed.

Examine periodically for signs of wear

or damage on the blanket. If there are
such signs, or if the blanket has been
misused, return it to an authorised
service agent for inspection prior to any
further use in order to avoid a hazard.

3. Check that the hub is properly

connected to the blanket and clicked
securely into position. If you find the
hub connector plug is not properly
fitted to the blanket, switch off at the
power outlet, securely attach the
hub connector plug to the blanket,
and then switch the power back on.

5. Ensure that the sensor is installed

in line-of-sight of the remotes.
(When adjusting settings ensure the
remotes are pointed at the sensor).

Only use your electric blanket with the

controls supplied or marked equivalent.

Hub function light modes:

START-UP (POWER ON): When the hub is installed,
connected to the power and turned on(as shown
in the Quick Start guide, steps 1-3 on pages 6 & 7),
the power light will turn ON and remain ON.
If the hub is turned on for the first time (or after a
temporary loss of power), both zone lights (A & B) will
pulse until the hub receives a signal by pressing
any button on the Main remote.
HEATING: In heating mode, the zone that is currently
heating is indicated by the corresponding zone light
(A, B or both).
TURBO 35: In Turbo 35 mode, the zone that is currently
set to Turbo 35 is indicated by the corresponding zone
light (A, B or both).
STANDBY: If a zone is set to Standby, the corresponding
zone light (A, B or both) will be OFF.
ADJUSTING SETTINGS: When you alter a heat setting
using either remote, the corresponding zone light
(A or B) will briefly flicker and then maintain a steady
illumination once a heat setting is selected.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS RETAIN FOR FUTURE USE.

If you have any concerns or questions regarding the performance or use of
your appliance, please visit www.delonghi.com.au or www.delonghi.co.nz
or contact the DeLonghi Consumer Helpline.
Please ensure the above safety precautions are understood.

remainder of your program.
If desired, TURBO 35 can be stopped during the
35 minute heating period by pressing the (Turbo)
or (Standby) button. The heat setting can be
adjusted using the (+) and (-) buttons at any
time during the pre-programmed operation
apart from when the control is in turbo mode.

a neutral state (not heating). When the changes are
complete the control goes back to the Timer Mode
settings either Heating or Standby.

Modifying your timer program

Using the main remote, press and hold the (A)
button until the element (e.g. hours digits) you
wish to alter is flashing. To skip an element that is

was activated.

Interrupting the timer program

If you want to interrupt your saved program at
any time, press the (A) button once to exit the

To stop your blanket from heating at any time
press the Standby button.
Note: Your programmed settings will be lost if the hub
is switched off at the power outlet. To avoid losing your

and properly secured on the mattress
each day. Do not use if the blanket is
folded, rucked or creased.

Ensure the electric blanket is switched

off and unplugged after use.

Do not use with a helpless person,

an infant, an infirm person, or a
person insensitive to heat.
Do not switch the blanket on if moist or
wet.
Do not allow the blanket heating wires to
extend over the edge of the mattress.
Do not use pins, needles, safety pins or
other sharp items on the electric blanket.
Do not dry clean the electric blanket.

This electric blanket is for domestic use

and is not intended for use in hospitals.

4. Check that the ON/OFF switch on

the hub is turned ON.

6. If the LOW symbol is displayed on the

Main remote LCD, the 2x AAA batteries
need to be replaced with new batteries.
The Mini remote has a low battery indicator
LED that flashes when the 2x AAA batteries
need to be replaced with new batteries.

Do not use the electric blanket on a

futon or adjustable bed.

Examine periodically for signs of wear

or damage on the blanket. If there are
such signs, or if the blanket has been
misused, return it to an authorised
service agent for inspection prior to any
further use in order to avoid a hazard.

3. Check that the hub is properly

connected to the blanket and clicked
securely into position. If you find the
hub connector plug is not properly
fitted to the blanket, switch off at the
power outlet, securely attach the
hub connector plug to the blanket,
