Abstract
The objectives of this research were to study human resources development and relationship
between human resources development process and performance in automobile factories located in the
Amatanakorn Industrial Estate, Chonburi. The sample groups used in this research were 304 executives
and human resources department managers from 152 automobile factories in the Amatanakorn Industrial
Estate, Chonburi. The statistics implemented in this data analysis were mean, percentage, standard
deviation, variance, and Pearson's correlation.
The findings indicated that opinions of respondents relevant to human resources development
processes comprising four processes namely necessity of human resources development, human
resources development planning, and application of human resources development plan, were at high
level. In addition, the performance assessment on finance, customer, business internal process, learning
and development was at high level too. The assumption test found that the necessity of human
resources development had relationship with organization performance in two aspects, which were
finance as well as learning and development. Meanwhile, human resources development planning had
relationship with organization performance in two aspects, namely customer and internal process. An
application of human resources development plan had relationship with organization performance in
three aspects, consisting of finance, internal process, and learning and development. And an assessment
of human resources development had relationship with organization performance in three aspects,
comprising finance, customer and learning and development
