Abstract
This objective of this research is to seek for factors that affect the effectiveness of the flood
management in Koh Kret, Nonthaburi, to understand the root of the problem and to seek way to tackle
the problem. The study employed quantitative research. The research instrument was questionnaire
collected from 269 cases. The statistical techniques utilized to analyze data included mean, standard
deviation, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results showed that the independent variables
included Culture, The Strength of the Community, Community Participation, Communication and
Knowledge Management could predict the dependent variable, effectiveness of Flood Management at
statistically significant level of .05
