Abstract
The purposes of this research were to study the schools conflict states and to present the
conflicts management guidelines for schools directors in Thatako district under Nakhonsawan Primary
Education Service Area Office 3. The samples of this research consisted of 186 directors and teachers in
Nakhonsawan Primary Education Service Area Office 3, academic year 2013. The instruments used were
the 5 rating scale questionnaires. The reliability was at 0.97. The statistics were Percentage, Mean and
Standard Deviation. The study revealed that the schools conflict states were in the moderate level. The
top three conflict states in each field were as followings; the conflicts between the director and teachers
were the fairness in considering the goodness, the teachers chances in participation and suggestion ideas
before giving commands or doing work. The conflicts between teachers and teachers were the neglect in
teaching duties, the co-operation in working and the teachers separation. The conflicts between the
school and parents or the community were the obedience to school rules of their pupils, the teaching
responsibility of teachers and the punishment for students. The guidelines to manage the conflicts were
the director should be fair to consider the goodness, give teachers a chance to participate in giving ideas
or solving problems, observe teachers teaching behaviors to decrease the neglect in teaching duties,
support teachers and personnel to get together in working, decrease the gap of the separation, explain
the parents and the community about the rules and punishment of the school.
