Mrs. Juana A. Kasiuba

I swear by my honor and everyone else who witness my pledge, that I will fulfill, to the
best of my ability and judgment this oath to my students. I agree to:
I promise to continue updating myself of new developments in mathematics education to
construct and modify my teaching skills by using technology as a privilege.
I promise to be conscious that not only my pupils learn from my lessons plan, but I also can learn
from them.
I will acknowledge my mistakes.
I will work with my colleagues to support and inspire us to achieve our educational goals for our
students.
I will surely respect and follow those educators in whom steps I walk and formally share their
knowledge as is mine with those students who follow me through my professional career.
I promise to accomplish all possible knowledge in mathematical themes that I need to acquire as
a professional.
I will try to learn new roles to offer my students the right help that they can support themselves
and this will allow them to use it as a tool for reasoning math problems and a problem solving
that may come in their educational futures.
I promise to respect and not judge my pupils culture and traditions so I can make my classroom
comfortable and respectful.
I promise to listen to them, work with them, and provide them with the best math strategies I
can.
I promise to construct a commutative relationship with my students parents, encouraging them
to have an interest in their child education and also providing all kind of information that they
may have a doubt in my grading system or any other kind of participation.
I promise that my number one goal is to always be there for my pupils in an emotional and
educative way.
I promise to make my class as dynamic as possible because I know that some students fear or
may dislike math.
I will encourage all students to participate in mathematical assignments and I will use a variety
of strategies to help each student learn.
I will assure that in every beginning of my classes I will provide the objective of the lesson plan
and make my students understand it.
I promise to understand that not all students learn the same way so I will use all the models of
every lesson plan and will let my student adapt in whichever model they feel more comfortable
and I know they are learning.
I promise to explain all theorems that math lesson plans have and remark the theorems I know
they have a more important statement.
I will try to always do some hands-on activities to engage students interests and providing
opportunities to deepen their understanding of mathematical problems.
I will use collaborative work in my students to help them prepare to understand the function of
knowing how to collaborate with one another.
I will make students achieve full understanding rather than memorization.
I promise to encourage my students involved in thinking instead of just learning procedures or
rules.
I promise to let my students know that making mistakes is part of our daily lives and will try to
reach all the different ways until there is full understanding.
I make this promise freely and upon my oath as long as I am engaged in the education field
