Position Description
As the lead on Curriculum Design you will be responsible for the overall curriculum within Milaans
learning centres. Your current focus will be developing an accelerated curriculum for classes 5th to
8th based on learning levels as defined by the education board.
You will also be responsible for tracking the learning levels of the students and providing support to
teachers for interventions as required.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall curriculum within Milaans learning centres.

Developing and designing curriculum to be taught as per the learning levels of the students.
Conducting trainings to build capacities of teachers with regard to their teaching skills.
Developing tools to monitoring the learning levels of students at the learning levels
Providing support to partners for implementing the monitoring tools.
Collating and analyzing data collected through the monitoring tools and making
recommendations.
Develop targeted interventions for weaker students.
To be aware of relevant funding opportunities for pedagogical research and assist the team in
fund raising activities for the same.
To undertake specific research activities as needed.
To attend meetings, forums and conferences as requested.
Any other duties towards the fulfillment of the organizations goals.

Skills and Qualifications Required

Masters in Education, Development Studies or the equivalent.

Excellent communication skills.
Training and facilitation skills.
Demonstrated experience in developing child centric curriculum.
Knowledge of modern pedagogical methods.
Knowledge of existing board curriculums of either CBSE or CBSE.
Knowledge and awareness of creative learning tools developed by leading organizations such
as Pratham and Akansha Foundation.
Knowledge of tools for tracking and experience with mapping the learning levels of children.
Knowledge of and any working experience with the ADDIE model would be desirable.
Experience in writing reports for both donors and internal monitoring would be desirable.
Fluent in both Hindi and English.

Remuneration
Salary package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
