Answer the following questions (using Neat sketches)
Question No.1
(a) Construct all over velvet weft pile fabric has 2/1 Twill for back & 3 H
Twill for Pile weave. If the ratio of ground to pile picks is 1:2. Make
sure the tuft will not be peeled off easily
(b) Illustrate the cross-section of the previous velvet fabric.
(c) If that velvet fabric has 23°32 ends & ground picks/cm find the pile
length, height and density?

1. Explain each of the following

weaving machine
Determine the value of each if the projectile weight and its speed at

warp and weft breaks were 5/hr and2.5/hr.
