Job Purpose Co-ordinates the timely resolution of day to day service issues between FedEx and the vendor to
ensure achievement and maintenance of contractual service levels. Provides feedback and
recommendations for improvement areas.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Key accountability 1 : Business & Technical Expertise: Maintains a good understanding of the FedEx & outsource
businesses and procedures; contractual & service requirements. Keeps up to date with changes to
support in implementation of workable solutions for the business.
Key accountability 2 : Data collection and monitoring: Collates data from the vendor and distributes to relevant others for
research and analysis. Based on internal feedback, monitors defined service metrics to co-ordinate
resolution of day to day issues.
Key accountability 3 : Audits: Actively participates in audits and supports the management in designing of audit techniques
for processes done at vendor end. Assists in the analysis of audit issues and development of action
plans to address issues when required.
Key accountability 4 : Support to L & D: Supports L & D at vendor end with the design, development and delivery of
standard training on outsource activities. Develops/ delivers approved solutions till required standards
are achieved.
Key accountability 5 : Alignment: Liases with vendor personnel and relevant internal teams to facilitate the manifesting and
ship to collect operations. Ensures issues are timely escalated to relevant others.
Key accountability 6 : Change Implementation: Participtaes in the planning and implementation of changes (shift
schedules, new operational processes etc). Co-ordinates agreed actions to achieve the change.
Monitors and measures progress.
Key accountability 7 : IT System Support: Highlights all issues of system and accesses to the management after following
up with the vendor. Acts as local liasion between vendor and company representatives to set up IT
systems.
Key accountability 8 : Administration: Verifies vendor bills and processes payments. Performs any other assigned
administrative activities including contingency cover.

Job Purpose Supports the ongoing achievement and maintenance of contractual service levels (including
critical outsource operations). Designs and develops tools to monitor performance.

Business & Technical Expertise: Maintains a good understanding of the FedEx & outsource businesses
and procedures; contractual & service requirements by using appropriate tools/ methods. Keeps up to
date with changes to support in development of workable solutions for the business.
Key accountability 2 : Reports: Ensures validity of data provided for research and analysis. Provides reports to the
vendor to monitor the quality levels. Co-ordinates the resolution of day to day contractual service
issues by monitoring defined service metrics. Monitors vendor performance by using established tools.
Key accountability 3 : Audits: Conducts on-floor audits and ensures vendor compliance. All identified issues are appropriately
highlighted to management. Assists the management in developing effective vendor audit processes
that address key compliance areas.
Key accountability 4 : Trainings: Identifies & recommends non-corporate training requirements for the vendor. Includes
development of documentation (job-aids, process flows etc), development of tools to monitor and
measure progress.
Key accountability 5 : Alignment: Builds effective alignments with key vendor personnel and relevant internal teams to
facilitate the manifesting and ship to collect operations. Co-ordinates for support in identifying and
understanding process related issues.
Key accountability 6 : Change Implementation: Participates in the planning and implementation of changes which may be
critical or complex, includes developing tools to monitor performance. Tailors recommendations
as per operating procedures.
Key accountability 7 : IT System Support: Liases with ITD by providing support in establishing network systems, network
coverage and data security. Includes advising and conducting pre-implementation activities like
dry run, creation of bulletin boards etc.
Key accountability 8 : Administration: Negotiates better rates with vendor. Performs any other assigned administrative
activities including contingency cover.
