Mission Statement Metro Transit operates a public service, using public funds and facilities. As
such, all employees have a responsibility to safe guard public assets and maintain the highest
standards of ethical conduct in their performance of public business. Also employees of Metro
Transit are expected to conducts themselves in a professional manner toward fellow employee
and customers. Employees should promote a respectful and safe atmosphere with the goal of
improving their service capability and their working environment.
General employee conduct while at work- all employee of Metro Transit should conduct
themselves in a professional manner on and off premises while wearing company uniform.
Employees should show respect to each other and Management.
Conflicts of interest- Employees of Metro Transit are prohibited from taking employment form

Organizational theory- is the study of how organizations function and
how they affect and are affected by the environment by the environment
in which they operate
Organizational design- is the process by which managers select and
manage aspects of structure and culture so an organization can control
the activities necessary to achieve its goals.
Organizational change- is the process by which organization moves from
their present state to some desired future state to increase their
effectiveness.
Organizational structures- is the formal system of task and authority
relationships that control how people coordinate their actions and use
resources to achieve organizational goals
Organizational culture- is the set of shared values and norms that
controls organization members interactions with each other and with
suppliers, customers, and other people outside the organization.
Organizational theory set the grown rule for organizational design, change organization structure and
culture.

The link between organizational design and change , organization design is the digram on why and how a decision are made for
design structure for an organization doesnt me the plan could change at some point. Organzional design set the present what d
every day changes.
