VRF SYSTEM SERIES

The YDS/YDV (YORK Digital Scroll/YORK AC Inverter Air Conditioner) air conditioning system is operated by a
variable-capacity compressor and is accommodated by multiple evaporators (indoor units). It is considered as the
next-generation modular system with high efficiency air conditioning in the world.

FEATURES

meets customers needs accurately.
- Maximum capacity is 64HP, the maximum
capacity in air-conditioner refrigeration
industry.
2) Flexible combination of indoor units
Each outdoor unit permits connecting

up to 16 indoor units. This figure varies in
accordance with the model. The total capacity
of the indoor units can vary between 50% of the

YDS DIGITAL SCROLL

1) Variable compressor
Variable capacity and energy saving operation.
The use of high-technology Scroll type digital compressors can
provide continuous energy control of between 10% and 100%,
and maintains a greater Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) when
operating under low charges. This is a design with a high level
of energy efficiency.
2) Control principle of variable capacity system

Periodical load and unload of the compressor can control
refrigerant volume. One unloading and one loading are called one
control cycle. Generally one control cycle takes 10 to 20 seconds.
The control of the ratio of the unloading and loading time can achieve different output of refrigerant.
E.g.: Suppose full capacity is 10HP, and control cycle is 20 seconds. If output needs to 5HP (50% of the full
capacity), then loading time account for 50% of the total time. That is, 10 seconds respectively for both loading time
and unloading time. If you need to output 2HP(20% of the full capacity), then the load time will take up 20% of the
total time, that is, 4 seconds for loading and 16 seconds for unloading. This formula applies to other numbers. The
schematic diagrams of 10%, 50% and 100% of the full capacity are as follow:

3) Progressive adjustment of compressor capacity

The Scroll type digital compressor operates
at maximum speed during the charge period,
whereas only 10% of its capacity is required to keep
the compressor in operation during the discharge
period. Low energetic consumption assures a stable
performance.
4) Accurate temperature control

Compared with the traditional air conditioning system,
YDS system can reach 0.5 Degree centigrade accuracy.
5) No electromagnetic disturbance
YDS Digital Scroll System causes no electromagnetic disturbance, since the loading and unloading of
compressor are merely mechanical movement. This special feature makes the Digital Scroll System applicable to
telecommunication companies, power stations, and all kinds of precise science labs.

The YDV (YORK Inverter Air Conditioner) air-conditioner is the system that has variable-frequency
compressor and multiple evaporators (indoor units). It is widely used in the world for high efficiency. It has undoubted
by changed the face of cooling associated with high-storied buildings. It provides a broad range of different
applications for settings such as offices, hotels and schools. With the advantage of easy installation and simple
controlling system and so on, the YDV system can meet the demands of the air conditioning market better.
1) Variable compressor
DC Inverter adopts High tech brushless DC
motor, Neodymium material permanent magnet of
rotor, New Design for Magnet Arranging,
concentrate Magnetic Lines, reduce the consuming
of energy, DC Variable-Speed 25Energy Savings
Compared AC variable-speed type.

3) Oil control technology

Oil balance between modules, special oil
balance vector control equipment ensured oil
reasonable distribution between modules, and make
sure the compressor operate more stable and

HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM

1) Cooling and Heating synchronously
For many large-scale building, there are many closed area which some rooms need cooling while others need
heating. Traditional A/C just only cooling or heating synchronously while heat recovery system can achieve cooling and
heating synchronously in one system by MS switch equipment.
2) Heat recovery, more energy-saving

The surplus heat of some indoor units condensation can be used for other indoor units for evaporation.
Compared to traditional A/C can energy-save 15% at least.

Free combination with indoor unit by Electronics Expansion valve (EXV)
(1). Extreme low noise, 3 dB (A) lower compared
with which put EXV into the indoor unit case.
(2). Easy maintenance. Being separated from indoor
unit, fixed on the body or inside the indoor unit
independently, thus it can be replaced easily.
(3). Easy installation, just quick connection by flare
