The pineapple fruit is a terminal, cylindrical, compound structure at the apex

of the stem and is formed by the fusion of the berrylike fruitlets, the EYES
that develop from the flowers:
The stem of pineapple bears flowers, each of which ripens into a fruitlet. A
fruitlet contains all of the parts of a complete flower including sepals, petals,
stamens and a pistil with a stigmatic surface where pollination takes place,
as well as an ovary where the fruitlet's seeds develop.
The shell is composed of sepal and bract tissues and the spices of the
ovaries. These are the remains of the flowers which persist after the fruit is
formed and each one manifests itself as a different one of the fruit's 'eyes'.
The complete fruit "pineapple" forms a "fusion"

a. comets are a sign of bad omens
b. Superstitions are always associated with Solar Eclipse, specially in India,
where Astrologers make fast money by indicting fear in the public. This is
happening since centuries. Earlier our Ancestors didn't wanted to see the
Eclipse, fearing EYE SAFETY, as they were neither had safety mechanisms,
nor aware of Scientific Methods to witness this Fantastic Celestial Event,
and hence propagated blind beliefs and superstitions to avoid watching the
Eclipse. This is the main reason why people even today, do not want to come
out of their homes, during the Eclipse.
benson mendoza: Times changed now, with easy availability of SOLAR
FILTERS, and the Scientific Community, atleast now should aggressively
encourage everybody to witness this Astronomical Wonder, with Media
supporting the same, and provide resources to the public for procuring safe
and scientific methods to witness eclipse like www.astronomyindia.org/shop
Once they witness the Eclipse and get thrilled, they lose the fear of viewing
the Eclipse, and also simultaneously shun Superstitions related with Eclipse.

c. n the Philippines, a lingering superstition states that when the Sun or
Moon is darkened by an eclipse, it sends out groups of dark, evil spirits to
inhabit the land. Those who still believe this superstition bring all their
belongings in-doors and dont go outside until the eclipse is over.
benson mendoza: d. Typhoons are said to be from satan who throws winds to
lands
benson mendoza: e. Many myths and superstitions emerges around rain and
its accompanying phenomena e.g. cloud, lightning and thunder. Some myths

and superstitions also invited by Balinese around rain and lightning; here are
some of them:
When light rain falls during a religious ceremony, it indicates a good luck
and God is pleased with the ceremony.
benson mendoza: When rain falls in broad daylight without any significant
cloud in the sky, it indicates a wedding ceremony of supernatural beings
takes place.
Why lightning strike different places? Lightning is destined to chase a stone
called manik until he succeeds in striking that stone. Unfortunately manik is
always moving around, hiding in every nooks he can found; lightning strikes
the place where manik is hiding.
benson mendoza: To avoid lightning strike during the rain, throw a metal on
the yard (preferably a knife, the bigger the better), so the lightning will strike
the metal object instead of building or human
f.Earthquake beliefs are said to be signs that earth will be destructed.
