Terms of Reference for a HR Intern

Scope of Responsibilities:
The HR Intern is responsible for supporting the HR Operations to be done as a part of fulfilling the organizational
commitment to poor people by contributing to the HR operational processes.

Responsibilities:
To contribute to standardize the processes, streamline and improving the systems on: Filing, recruitment,
inductions, Learning & Development, Internal Communications systems. To assist in organizing
induction/orientation sessions and HR policy roll-out workshops in Concern Worldwide, Bangladesh Head office in
Dhaka and three field offices (Khulna, Kishoregonj and Rajshahi) including content development, coordination and
documentations.
The objectives of the engagement are shared in the following matrix along with the activities, expected results and
timeline for better understanding:

Assist in developing contents, tools, coordinate to
conduct internal/external (for partners) trainings.
Documentations: prepare feedback forms; collect
feedback, attendance for reporting purposes.

Options for circulating the job vacancies to


reach/attract the right candidates using various
networks.
CV downloading/printing and assist in long-listing
Assist in improve the capacity of interviewers
Assist in conducting recruitment interviews: inviting
qualified candidates using emails/phones/verbal
communications.

Obligations: Maintain high level of confidentiality wherever the incumbent come across sensitive
informations/data. Person shall accept, adhere to all Concern Worldwide policies (P4, CoC and so on). A report
shall be prepared and submitted by the incumbent on completion of the six months tenure prior to the final
settlement is made.

Accountability: The professional Intern is accountable to the Head of Human Resources for performance.
Recruitment Requirements: BBA/MBA preferably major in HRM/CSE
Job related knowledge:

Having knowledge in MS Word, MS excel/PowerPoint


Excellent communications skill in English and Bangla

Time period: Six (06) Months.
