Standard Terms & Disclaimer of Liability

1)

All participants and spectators take part in the competitions and events of Formula Student Germany e.V.(FSG) at their own risk.
They alone carry the civil and criminal liability for all kinds of damage caused by their intentional or negligent acts while present
on the site of the events.
2) The possession, distribution and consumption of alcohol and of other drugs are prohibited on the site of the events for the time
of the events (0.0% blood alcohol content). Persons under the influence of alcohol or other drugs are neither permitted access to
the premises nor to remain there.
3) All participants and spectators have to obey the orders of FSG personnel immediately and with due care. This is necessary to
safeguard their own safety and the maintenance of order. Barred areas, especially the racetrack, may not be entered under any
circumstances.
4) All participants and spectators on entering the area of the events declare the waiver of claims of any kind for damages arising in
connection with the events, namely claims against: the organizers, track maintenance personnel,track owners, local authorities
and other organizations and persons associated with the competitions and events of FSG, the vicarious agents, assistants and
servants in the sense of 278, 831 BGB (Bundesgesetzbuch) of the above mentioned, the participants, their assistants, the
owners and registered keepers of the automobiles.
5) By registering for an event, the participant waives the right to make any claims for damages resulting from an event, be this
against the organiser, race stewards, medical personnel, the race track owner, sponsors, racing services or other parties involved
in the organisation of the event, including the organisers agents and persons contracted by the organiser within its obligations.
6) This waiver does not exclude the liability for damages arising out of personal injury caused by intentional or negligent breaches
of duty or for any other damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty of the abovementioned or of their
statutory agents or their vicarious agents (278 BGB).
7) By accessing the wireless network, you acknowledge that you're of legal age, you have read and understood and agree to be
bound by this agreement. The wireless network service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either expressed or
implied. Your access to the network may be blocked, suspended, limited, or terminated at any time for any reason.
You agree not to use the wireless network for any purpose that is unlawful and take full responsibility of your acts. You accept
that the operator may log connections, connection attempts, connection meta data, addresses and traffic flow data to avoid
unlawful use of the network and to improve the service for future events. Data allowing to identify individuals such as MAC
addresses will not be made public or shared with third parties, unless required by German law.
8) The limitation of liability becomes binding for and against every participants and spectator on entering the site of the events. It
covers claims on any legal basis, including pre-contractual liability.
9) Please be aware that that this event will be documented using video and photography. The material will be used solely for the
purpose of making the event more open and understandable to the public. In legal terms: By participating in this event, you (the
visitor/participant), have given the right for the organisers to send or receive image or video media of yourself, without either party
owing special compensation. The organiser is allowed to release this image or video media themselves or forward it onto a third
party to release for use in audio-visual, print and online media.
10) Participants must attend the drivers briefings. Failure to attend may result in participants being barred from the event by the
organiser.The event organiser is not responsible for the condition of the race track and its facilities.
11) The participant is responsible for organising sufficient insurance cover (private liability, health insurance).
12) Participants must conduct themselves in a manner that does not endanger other participants for the duration of the event.
