Agriculture. (OBC-1, UR-1). The posts are suitable for Physically Challenged Persons with disability viz.
Orthopedically Handicapped/Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy with Both Legs Affected But Not Arms
(BL) or One Leg Affected (Right or Left) (OL) or One Arm Affected (Right or Left) (OA). The posts are
permanent. Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 7,600 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 48,024/-Approx.)
+ TA and HRA as admissible, General Central Service, Group 'A', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. Age*: 50
yrs. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: A. EDUCATIONAL: Master's degree in Horticulture or Agriculture
or Botany with specialization in horticulture or equivalent from a recognized University. B.
EXPERIENCE: Ten years' experience in horticulture development or research or production or
extension. DESIRABLE: Doctorate degree in horticulture or equivalent from a recognized University.
DUTIES: To provide essential link between State and Central Governments in solving problems in
horticulture production and providing authoritative recommendations for use of Agricultural Officers
and extension workers at field level. To execute the agricultural production campaign in the field of
horticulture crops viz. Cashewnut, Coconut, Aercanut, Spices, Horticulture Vegetables, Oil Palm, fruits
and aromatic plants. To monitor implementation of horticulture plans, schemes & projects of different
states. HQ: New Delhi but liable to serve any part of India or abroad.

Two Assistant Directors in Central Poultry Development Organisation (CPDO), Department of Animal
Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture. (UR-2). The posts are permanent. Pay
Scale: Rs. 9,300-34,800 (PB-2) + Rs. 4,600 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 28,773/-Approx.) + TA and HRA as
admissible, General Central Service, Group 'B', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. Age*: 30 yrs.
QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: A. EDUCATIONAL: (i)Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science and
Animal Husbandry from a recognized University or Veterinary Institute or equivalent as mentioned in
Schedule-I or Schedule-II of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984.(ii) Should have registered with
Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council. B. EXPERIENCE: Two years' experience in
Management of large size poultry farm.* * "large size poultry farm means A Poultry farm having flock
size of five thousand birds or higher". DUTIES: Management of Poultry Flocks of different age groups
at the Farm including vaccination, debeaking, wing banding, leg banding, trap nesting etc.
Management of various Hatchery operations at the Farm. Marketing of eggs and birds produced at the
Farm. Maintenance of proper records of livestock, eggs, hatchery, feeds and feed ingredients and
other stocks and stores at the Farm. HQ: Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi but liable to serve anywhere in
India.

+ Rs. 6,600 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 45,954/-Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible, General Central
Service, Group 'A', Gazetted. Age*: 40 yrs. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: EDUCATIONAL: A. (i)
Bachelor's Degree with Physics or Mathematics as one of the main subjects from a recognized
university or equivalent; (ii) Seven years' experience in the field of aircraft maintenance engineering.
OR B (i) Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Aeronautical Engineering from a recognized University or
equivalent. (ii) Five Years' experience in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or in the field of
aircraft or engine or aircraft equipment manufacture. DESIRABLE: Practical experience on multiengine

Aircraft or power plant or equipment installed on such aircraft. DUTIES: To assist Director/Deputy
Director of Airworthiness in day to day work. Inspection of aircraft/ engines/ accessories for
issue/renewal of Certificates of Registration, Certificate of Airworthiness etc. Investigation of aircraft
accidents/ incidents, mechanical delays and forced landings. Surveillance/approval of organizations
engaged in manufactures/maintenance/training etc. Conduct of examinations and issue / renewal of
personnel licences. HQ : Directorate General of Civil Aviation (Hq) is in New Delhi with All India
Service liabilities.

Defence. (UR-1). The post is suitable for Physically Challenged Persons with disability viz. Blindness or
Low Vision i.e. Blind (B) or Partially Blind (PB) or Orthopaedically Handicapped/Locomotor
Disability/Cerebral Palsy with Both Legs Affected but not Arms (BL) or One Leg Affected (Right or Left)
(OL) or One Arm Affected (Right or Left)(OA).The post is permanent. Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100
(PB-3) + Rs. 6,000 (Academic Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 44,712/-Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible,
General Central Service, Group 'A', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. Age*: 35 yrs. QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL: EDUCATIONAL: (i) Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at
least 55% or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master's
Degree level in Chinese from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign
University. (ii) Must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants
Commission, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research or similar test accredited by the University
Grants Commission. (iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in clauses (i) and (ii) candidates who
are, or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission
(Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D.Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted
from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level
Eligibility Test (SLET)/State Eligibility Test(SET) for recruitment and appointment of Assistant
Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/Institutions. (iv) National Eligibility Test
(NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SLET)/State Eligibility Test (SET) shall also not be required for such
Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/ SLET/ SET is not conducted. Explanation: The term
'Good Academic Record' means at least 55% marks at Master's Degree level in Chinese. NOTE-I: A
minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed
will be required at the master's level for those recruited as teachers at any level from industries and
research institutions and at the entry level of Assistant Professor. NOTE-II: A relaxation of 5% may be
provided at the graduate and master's level for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled
(Physically and visually handicapped) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good
academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions. The eligibility marks of 55% marks or
an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed and the relaxation of 5% to
the categories mentioned above are permissible, based on only the qualifying marks without including
any grace mark procedures. NOTE-III: A relaxation of 5% may be provided, from 55% to 50% of the
marks to the Ph.D. holders who have passed their Master's degree prior to 19th September, 1991.
NOTE-IV: Relevant grade which is regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is
followed by a recognised University, shall also be considered eligible. NOTE-V:The period of time taken
by candidates to acquire M.Phil., and /or Ph.D degree shall not be considered as Teaching/ Research
experience to be claimed for appointment to the teaching positions. DUTIES: In addition to primary
duty of teaching an Assistant Professor will assist in all aspects of training of cadets. He / she will
perform all administrative duties as assigned by higher authorities and participate in academic / social
