Dead body found

Reference:
Telephoned call from Mr. Lim Beng, a holtel Manager at around
8:30 am on June 24, 1997

This pertains to the dead body of a woman found at Nest Hotel located at Sales
St. Gil Puyat, Sta. Cruz Manila at around 8:00 am as reported by Mr. Lim Beng, Nest
Hotel Manager.
Initial Investigation conducted by SPO3 Juan Dela Cruz. Investigator revealed that
the victim was Maria Cati, 16 years old, a student of Philippine College of Criminology
taking up Bachelor of Science of Criminology, residing at 123 Clara M. Recto Sta. Cruz,
Manila. On June 24, 1997 the victim and her boyfriend, Romeo Salisi, 20 years old,
schoolmate of the victim residing at 4566 Evangelista St., Sta. Cruz, Manila. Entered in
the Nest Hotel located at Sales St. Gil Puyat, Sta. Cruz, Manila and registered as a
couple.
The couple was assigned at room no.3 on the page no. 4 of the registry book of
the hotel. On the following day June 25, 1997 around 8:00 am the room boy , Pedro Silip
Jr. knocked at the door of room no. 3 to change the bed sheet and towel but nobody
answered. He used the passkey to open the locked door and he found a dead body of a
woman lying naked on the bed.
The room boy reported it immediately to Mr. Lim Beng, hotel Manager. At
around 8:30 am Mr. Lim Beng called the desk officer of Precinct No. 3 with the
information that a dead body of a woman was found. Investigation further revealed that
small empty bottle labeled seconal was found beside the victim. The clothing of the
victim was found inside the closet. Further, it was found out that the boyfriend, Romeo
Salisi was missing. According to the cigarette vendor, he saw the Romeo Salisi leaving
the hotel at around 7:30 am on the same date.
After photographing, the body of the victim was transferred to the Police
Morgue for autopsy. As a result of medical report the victim was raped and died
because of overdose of seconal pills.
The parents of the victim were notified. Alarm issued for the arrest of the suspect.

old, a schoolmate of the victim residing at 456 Evangelista St., Sta. Cruz, Manila, was
entered as a couple at the Nest Hotel. The couple was registered on page no.4 of the
registry book of the hotel and assigned to room no. 3.

On the following day, June 25, 1997 at around 8:00am the room boy, Pedro Silip
Jr. was assigned to change the bed sheet and towel of the room no. 3. He knocked the
door but nobody answered, he used the pass-key to open the locked door. When he
entered the room, he found a dead body of a woman lying naked on the bed. The room
boy immediately reported it to Mr. Lim Beng, Nest Hotel Manager. At around 8:30 am
Mr. Lim Beng called the desk officer of Precinct No. 3 with the information that a dead
body of a woman was found.

Investigation further revealed that a small bottle labeled Seconal was found
beside the victim and the clothes of the victim was found inside the closet. Further, it
was found out that the boyfriend of the victim was missing. According to the cigarette
vendor, he saw Romeo Salisi leaving the Nest Hotel at around 7:30 am on the same
date.

After photographing, the victim body transferred to the Police Morgue for
autopsy. Based on the findings of Medical Report the victim was raped and died of
seconal overdose. The parents of the victim were notified. Romeo Salisi was still missing,
therefore the PNP alarm an issued for the arrest of the suspect.
