A NEW YOUNG COUPLES SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS

begins December 7th at 9:15 a.m. in FLC Room 124. David
Harrison will be the teacher. Married (without children) and
single couples are invited to attend.

THE SECURITY & SAFETY MINISTRY TEAM needs a few

more volunteers for security during the Sunday Services and
Wednesday night activities. We will have an orientation/
training session on Wednesday, December 3rd at 6:30 p.m. in

Moonlight Missionaries ~ December 1 ~ 5:30 p.m.

Home of Diana Jaynes ~ 1219 Parkview Way
Meet at 5:30 p.m. and bring cookies/goodies for Christmas Caroling. We
will leave promptly at 6:00 pm to sing to and visit with some of our senior
adults. Any lady is welcome to join us! For more information about

COME SEW WITH US - December 11, 6 - 8 pm, Fellowship Hall

(We will be making burping cloths)
This will be a wonderful way to learn to sew and make a great Christmas
present for a new little one or bring a sewing project of your own. Please sign
up at the FLC table if you plan to attend and enjoy the evening of fellowship
and fun! What to bring: Your own sewing machine if you have one, we will
have a couple here if you dont. It takes about a 1/2 yard of two different
flannels for the burping cloths. Also bring scissors, thread to match your
fabric, and pins. Any questions, contact Debbie Holbrook at 859-582-2911 or

Summer Mission Trips 2015: Do you want your life to be changed? Sign-ups begin NEXT

Upward Concessions: Youth, parents, and students who are interested in working
concessions for Upward Basketball need to attend a brief meeting on Wednesday,
December 3, 8:00 pm, FLC Rm 122. (There will be an additional training session in
January). Please bring Friday and Saturday dates that you cannot work from January 9 March 14. This is a great way for your student to earn money towards the cost of the summer
mission trips (and other youth events).
For Middle School: CONVERGE, Saturday, December 6, from 2-5 pm, Thrive Room.
Play a great game called BUNCO. Prizes awarded. Have Christmas snacks and hot chocolate.
If time allows, watch a Christmas movie. COST: FREE!!!

Christmas Party, Progressive Dinner, Wednesday, December 10. Meet at the church at
5:45 pm. Bring $5 to go to missions and 2 canned goods. We will be going to 3 different
homes (Baldwins, possibly Neeleys, Tracys). You can be picked up at the last home,
Cherie Tracys (1582 Red House Rd) or the vans will return to the church by 9:15 pm. Sign
up so we can have the right amount of food and transportation! Invite friends!

EKU International Student Christmas Dinner, Friday, December 5, at 6 pm, at
the EKU BCM (325 University Drive). We have volunteered to provide and serve
the food. We will need people to cook turkeys and chicken, potato dishes, vegetable
dishes, stuffing/dressing, bread, and desserts. If you would like to help with this event,
please sign up at the FLC table or let Dwayne or Joni know. (If providing food, please
have food to the church by 5:00 pm or to the BCM by 5:30 pm).
