In todays rapidly
changing environment,
graduates looking to
start a career whether
in management
consultancy, policy
analysis, financial
services or the corporate
sector need to combine
the rigour of analytical thinking with a strategic
focus. MSc Economics & Strategy for Business has
been developed to address this need.
The focus of the programme is interdisciplinary,
combining advanced courses in both economics
and strategy, and is taught by leading scholars in
those areas at the intersection of organisational
theory and technological innovation. You will
be exposed to a broad range of thinking, from
corporate governance and financial risk to
energy economics, strategy innovation and
implementation.
We focus on understanding theory and its
application to business. As a recent business
graduate, with experience of studying economics
and business, you will develop your analytical skills
and strategic thinking, learning how to apply this
toolkit to a wide variety of situations.
Throughout the programme, we emphasise the
development of problem-solving and decision
making skills within an organisational setting,
while our integrated professional development
programme aims to ensure you develop the
necessary soft skills for career success.
This unique combination provides a valuable
platform for you to consider and pursue a more
generalist path in business over the course of
your career.
