Allah
Say he is Allah the One the self sufficient the master whom all creatures need. He begets not
nor was He begotten. And there is no co-equal or comparable unto Him. (surah al ikhlaas,
112:1-4)
Believing in the oneness of Allah means realizing and keeping the Unity in His Lordship,
Worship, Names and Attributions.
Its the belief that Allah is without partners in His Dominion and Actions
1- Allah is One.
2- Allah is the creator of All things.
3- Allah alone sustains and maintains the creation without the need for it or from it.
4- Allah alone is the sole and the sovereign Lord of the universe and it's inhabitants
5- Allah alone gives life and death
Worshiping Allah is the purpose of creation. Allah says " I did not create the Jinn and Men
except for My worship" (Surah Adh Dhariyaat, 51:56)

the heavens and earth. The one who has made the angels messengers with wings two three
and four. He increases in His creation whatever He wishes. And surely has power over all"
Angels do not get hungry tired or bored, they constantly obey Allah. Allah says "They do not
disobey Allah in whatever He commands them, but do as they are commanded ( 66:6)"
They do not have gender. Allah says about the disbelievers : "They say that the angels, who
are servants to the Most Merciful are females! Did they witness their creation? Their saying
will be recorded and they will be questions about it! " (43:19)
They know as much as Allah teaches them. They like to listen to Quran. They dislike dogs,
pictures of animate beings and hate ugly smell.
They help and protect the believers, Allah says "for each person there are angels who go to
him in succession, they stay in front of him and behind him and guard him by the
command of Allah" (13:11)
Hadhrat Qatadah (RA) says: Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi on sleeping , Allaah (SWT) nominates angels

L4-Books
Week:4
An important pillar of Iman is to believe in the books that Allah has sent down to the
messengers for the guidance of the people. These books are divine revelations from Allah
that'll help one to attain paradise.
Allah has orders us to believe in the books sent down to All the messengers : "Oh you who
believe, believe in Allah and the messenger and the book that he revealed to the messenger
and the books that have been revealed before" ( surah an nisa 4: 136)
Allah has never let people of any time without guidance. Allah has sent messengers to in
every time and has sent to them revelations to be guided and keep them safe from Hell
fire. Allah says :" We have surely revealed to you as We had revealed to Nooh and the
prophets after him, we also revealed to Ibrahim, Ishaq, Ismail, Ya'qoob, Al asbaat, Isa,
Ayyoob, Yunus, Haroon, Sulaiman and we gave Dawood the Zaboor" (surah nisa 4:163).
The Zaboor was revealed to Dawood(A.S). Allah says :"And We also gave Dawood the
Zaboor." (surah an Nisa 4:163)
The Torah was revealed to Moosa (A.S). Allah says : "We gave Moosa the book and made it
guidance to children of Israel" (surah Israa 17:2)
The Injeel was revealed to Isa (A.S). Allah says : "we also gave him (Isa <A.S>) the Injeel
that contained guidance and light" (surah Maaeda 5:46)
The Quraan is the last book which was revealed to Mohammed (S.A.A.W). Allah says : "
This is a book without any doubt, in it guidance for the Muttaqeen. (surah al Baqarah 2:
2).
The books revealed before the Quraan have been distorted and changed by the people. But
Allah has promised to protect the Quraan and keep it safe. Allah says : "surely it is We
who sent down the Dhikr, and surely it is We who shall guide it" (15:9)

L5-The Prophets.
Week:
Believing in all of Allah's Prophets and messengers without
any exception is a part of the
Muslim faith. Allah says : "Say we believe in Allah and the revelation given to us and that
given to Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and the Asbaat and that given to Musa and Isa
and that given to all the prophets from their lord. We have no prejudice against anyone
of them, and to him is the return (Surah Al Baqarah 2:136).
Allah sent messengers to every time and period and every nation. Allah says : "For every
nation there is a messenger." (surah Yunus 10:47)
The number of prophets as reported by Mohammed (S.A.A.W) is 124000. We do not
know all of them, some of the we know which are mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah,
but we must believe in all of them.
All the prophets had one purpose and goal --- saving the people from misguidance and
leading from darkness to light, to teach the oneness of Allah.
They brought law and justice to humanity. They taught the people to be just and to deal
with justice, and never to cheat. The prophets guided the people from falsehood to truth,
from hatred to love, from evil to good and from path of hell to path of Jannah.
Allah gave the prophets some miracles, to show the people. Mohammed (S.A.A.W) said
that every prophet was given miracles to make people believe in him. For example,
Prophet Musa (A.S) was given the stick, and Isa (A.S) the power to heal the blind, and
Mohammed (S.A.A.W) the Quran, an everlasting miracle.

Week: 6
The Muslims believe that there will be a final hour bringing the end to this world's life, and it will be
the last day after which there will be no other day.
This is the day when Allah the All mighty will resurrect all the creatures, when every single human
being from time of Aadam (A.S) till the last man will be brought to gather in front of Allah.
Allah will ask every human being about what they had done when there were in this world, about
their youth, time, wealth and every single blessing Allah has blessed us with.
Can you count the blessings Allah has given you? Are you prepared to face Allah on this day?
Then those who are pious, who do good deeds, help others etc will be rewarded with everlasting
pleasures and happiness in Jannah, but those who do evil, are wicked and disobey the orders of Allah,
for them will be humiliating punishment in Fire.
There are some people who don't believe in the resurrection but say that human beings after death,
will decompose and there is nothing after death. But this is not true. Allah says: "They indeed are
losers who denied meeting with Allah, until all of a sudden, the Hour is on them and they say 'Alas for
us that we gave no thought to it' while they will bear their burdens on their backs; and evil indeed are
the burdens that they will bear!" (surah An'aam 6:31)
Do you know what will happen after death?
When a person dies, the reckoning starts right when they are buried in their graves. In the grave there
are three questions which will be asked to the person.
1. Who is your Lord?
2. What is your Religion?
3. Who is the man who was sent amongst you? (i.e.; who is your Prophet)
If the questions are answered correctly, the person will succeed and be granted the glad tidings. But if
the person does not answer the questions then the punishment will start.
Allah will gather all human beings and Jinns on the day of judgment and judge between them with
justice. This day is we will have our final exam based on what we did in the world and it will be the
last results day. Let's see what questions Allah will ask us so that we can prepare for it.
The prophet (S.A.W) said "The son of Aadam will not be dismissed from his Lord on the Day of
Resurrection until he has been questioned about five things.
o His life and how he spent it.
o His youth and how he used it
o His wealth and how he earned it
o His wealth and how he used it.
o How he acted upon what he acquired of knowledge.
If one is able to answer these questions positively then, s/he will have good result of Jannah, but if
the person is not able to answer these questions positively, then s/he is doomed. His abode will be
the fire of Hell.
The first question to be asked on this day will be about Salaah. If one passes this test, then all the
following tests will be easy, but if the person is unable to pass this test, then the following tests will
get difficult.
Before the day of judgment there are some signs to occur. Do you know them? List down any 5
major signs of the Hour in the space provided below.

A Muslim believes in Allah's predestination of all things and events-His decree (Qadar), His wisdom in His actions, and His will.
Nothing in the universe can occur, even the voluntary actions of His slaves, except after Allah's knowledge, and His decree of that
event. A Muslim further believes that Allah is Just in His predestination and His decree, Wise in all of His actions. His wisdom
follows His will: Whatever He wills, is the best for usand whatever He does not will, is not good for us
Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is
punished for that (evil) which he has earned (S.Baqara286)
"The first thing which Allah created was the pen. Then, He said to it: Write. It asked: My Lord, what should I
write? He said: Write the proportions of all things up until the Hour." [Ahmad, At-Tirmidhi, and it is hassan]
Points to Remember
Fear Allah(SWT) and know that it is Allah, has decides your fate.
Do not question what is already written, for it was written by Allah to happen.
Example: Saying, "That shouldn't have happened!" is a statement against the Qadar.
Do not use the Qadar as an excuse for your actions.
Example: A person gets bad marksHe is not destined to get it
(If he would have worked hard and prayed, he could have got good marks) You must do your part. Put effort,
work hard, and strive
Hadith Narrated by Jabir Ibn Jarir recorded from Jabir bin `Abdullah that he said, "O Messenger of Allah! Are we performing
deeds for something that has already been predetermined or is the matter based upon what we are just doing (now)'' The Prophet
replied, (It is a matter that has been predetermined.) Then Suraqah said, "Then what is the purpose of deeds'' The Messenger of
Allah then said, (Everyone who does deeds will have his deeds made easy for him.) (Muslim)
Always Call upon Allah(SWT) for your strength, support and sustenance.
The Prophet (SAW) said:"Nothing can change the divine decree (Al Qadr) except Dua"
(Narrated by Ahmed, 5/677, Ibn Majah, 90 al Tirmidhi, 139)
