Scope and Objectives of the Course

1. To provide an over view of the study of matrices, multiple integrals, vector calculus and partial
differentiation with their application in various fields of engineering.
2. To prepare an engineer to analyze and correlate many real life problems mathematically and thus find the
appropriate solution for them.
3. To provide students with mathematical knowledge and skills needed to support their concurrent and
subsequent engineering studies.
4. To acquaint them with many challenging problems which will develop the problem solving ability and
enhance the required thinking of an engineer which will satisfy industry need.
