(a) BE/B Tech in Mech/Electronics /Electrical /Computer Science/IT/
Telecommunication and BE/B Tech (EEE/ECE) with minimum 60% marks Hard Area All Officers posted in Hard 25% of basic Pay

Or House Rent All Officers not provided Govt. 10-30 % of Basic (Pay
(b) A Master’s Degree in one of the following with minimum 50% marks Accommodation Band +Grade Pay +MSP)

Physics (with Maths in B.Sc.) , Maths (with Physics in B.Sc.), Chemistry,
Computer Application (with physics or Maths in B.Sc.) Computer Science
(with physics or Maths in B.Sc.), IT, English and History.
Note: Candidates who have not completed their Degree (i.e. appearing
candidates) need not apply.
4. PHYSICAL STANDARDS
(a) Height and Weight. Minimum height Male-157 cms with correlated weight.
(b) Eye Sight. 6/60, 6/60 correctable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses and should not
be colour/night blind.

14. Privileges. Free Medical Facilities for Self & dependents, canteen Facilities, Entitled
Ration, Mess/Club/Sports Facilities, Furnished Govt. Accommodation, Car/Housing Loan at
subsidised rate.
15. Group Insurance & Gratuity. Insurance cover of Rs. 30 lakhs (on contribution) and
Gratuity will be granted to the officer as per the latest rules in vogue.
16. Leave Entitlements. On Commission, officers are entitled to 60 days annual and 20
days casual leave every year (subject to service exigencies). They are also entitled for
40% rail concession to any place and free travel (as per extant rules) for self and family.
Leave during training period will be as per the Training Policy in vouge.
17. Sports & Adventure. The Navy provides facilities to pursue any sport of your liking.
In addition, one can learn and participate in adventure sports, such as river rafting,
mountaineering, hot air ballooning, hang gliding, wind surfing etc.
18. Physical fitness. In Naval Academy curriculum, a lot of emphasis is laid on physical
fitness. You are therefore, advised to build up yourself by physical training, sports, running,
swimming, etc. so that you meet the training goals successfully.

submitting more than one application will be disqualified. 3. Application form to be filled in
English only and in BLOCK CAPITALS. 4. Strike out whatever is not applicable. 5. Attach
attested copy of class TEN certificates for date of birth verfication. 6. Attach attested
copies of all other educational cartificates. 7. Application and enclosures to be properly
tagged/stiched by thread to avoid loss of enclosures.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Oceanography/ Naval Communications/Anti Submarine Warfare/Gunnery/ 7
