Darrens:
This time/ the entire membership/ came together to negotiate. We have put the world back, into
the World trade organization. People all around the world, will benefit from the package/ we have
delivered here today. This package is not an end, it is just a beginning.

Ejas:
We have negotiated a package, that will bring food security to the billions of the worlds poorest. We
have delivered an agreeement on trade facilitation, that will inject up to one trillion dollar economy.
And we have agreed, a ground breaking initiatives to help least developed countries, benefit more
from the multilateral trading system. I now proposed that the ministrial conference adopt the
ministrial declarations, the draft decisions submitted by general council. And the full Bali package. It
is all agreed.

We are now reporting live from in front of the Nusa Dua Convention center in Bali. And as the last
day of the conferences is about to be started, som of the delegates are still coming this way. And
alongside me now we have the misnistry of trade from India, Mr Anand Sharman. Mr Anand thank
you for being with us.
Anand
Yeah
Reporter
Mr Anand, we heard that the India party insist on increasing subsidy level of agriculture, from 10 to
15 percent. And that makes India as the opposing party of this WTO conferences. Could you please
explain to us .
Anand
Yes. I will strive to make the proposal accepted at the WTO summit. Public need are entitled to
security of supply of long term food reserve. A trade commited should match our commitment to

eliminate hunger and the right to food. And this is non negotiable, I told you, non negotiable. And
the WTO regulation must be corrected. Our policy regarding food security, including subsidy, should
not be interferred. Not even by by WTO. Should not bee interviened by the WTO. I told you.
