Aims & Objectives:

This course provides an introduction to Signal and Systems. The objective is to
familiarize the student with different types of signals their properties, different
mathematical operations related to signals like shifting, reversal, and symmetry etc, also
gives an introduction to general concept of systems like LTI systems different properties
of systems. This course introduces the convolution in both continuous and discrete
domains. Students also work on Fourier series, Fourier transform, Laplace transform and
Z- transform. This is a prerequisite to Digital signal processing.
