Overview
As University project student carried out case study on power plant boiler
water wall tube corrosion Mapping. The project includes the study of the
various corrosion depositions on the water wall tubes and utilizing the suitable
NDE techniques to map the corrosion. Optimization of low frequency
electromagnetic technique (LFET) for mapping different corrosion types.
Analysis of the corrosion deposits to identify the nature of corrosion and root
cause for corrosion deposits.
