In the development of the BMW Series Coup, all components such as design, body and steering
were from the very beginning conceived for maximum sportiness. Innovative technologies such as
Dynamic Traction Control, Variable Sport Steering, Adaptive Suspension and numerous driver
assistance systems are available as options. In addition, Driving Experience Control enables you to
decide for yourself just how much additional sportiness, ride comfort or fuel efficiency you want in
any given situation. Activating SPORT mode for example in conjunction with the optional Adaptive
Suspension switches to a stiffer suspension set-up, along with more direct steering and accelerator
pedal response.

The distinctive rear of the BMW Series Coup emphasises the vehicles wide track with
its horizontal lines. The contours of the boot lid precisely frame the typical L-shaped taillights
with their LED light guides, underscoring the vehicles width. An even sportier version of the
BMW Series Coup is the Mi range topper. It comes with a so-called gurney a wind
tunnel-tested spoiler lip on the boot lid. This increases downforce at high speed, for more
direct power transmission to the road and an even more impressive driving experience.

a thorough commitment to BMW driver orientation. The upper part of the centre console is
ergonomically inclined towards the driver. The free-standing ." Control Display of the optional
Navigation System Professional shows the relevant data enabling you to keep all vehicle functions
under control. Equally apparent to both eye and touch: the high-quality, carefully coordinated
materials and excellent workmanship. There is also a fascinating amount of space, and with handy

You should always expect a little more. For example when it comes to maximum
acceleration from a standing start. The Launch Control function of the optional
eight-speed Steptronic sport transmission enables the use of optimal wheel slip
and maximum engine power, combined with ideal gearshift timing. The ECO PRO
modes coasting function available for Steptronic transmissions via Driving Experience
Control (included as standard) makes for enhanced efficiency by uncoupling the
engine from the drivetrain whenever you ease off the accelerator pedal. In this way
the vehicle can sail on, without using fuel.

BMW ConnectedDrive provides you with more freedom through in-car connectivity features
that link you and your vehicle to the world you live in. The optional ConnectedDrive
Services* for example offer you a multitude of intelligent services and apps that provide

Use the optional Real Time Traffic Information feature for up-to-the-minute information
on the traffic situation, or rely on BMW Online Entertainment for the perfect soundtrack
to accompany every situation. BMW ConnectedDrive Driver Assistance systems such as
the Driving Assistant including Lane Departure Warning and Approach and Pedestrian
Warning with city braking function make driving less stressful and safer. Another feature
bundled with the Driving Assistant: the Attentiveness Assistant, which monitors driver
behaviour and emits a warning sound when it detects signs of fatigue.

Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) recognises the risk of skidding

and stabilises the vehicle. Extended functionality includes Cornering

brake stand-by. Traction Mode (DTC) is a sub-function of DSC and
permits increased wheel slip in order to maximise propulsion in specic
