AURELIO P. SANCHEZ
This Judicial Affidavit of AURELIO P. SANCHEZ, the Police Officer
who conducted the rape investigation, is executed to serve as a testimony
to the instant case.
This Judicial Affidavit was taken at the office of Atty. Wella Jane D.
Ata at #12 Dr. Su Drive, Nasipit, Talamban, Cebu City. Questions were
propounded by the same and the examination was conducted in English
and Filipino, the languages that were used and understood by the Affiant.
Affiant answered each question fully conscious that she did so under oath
and may face criminal liability for false testimony and perjury.

circumstances for the record.
I am SPO1 Aurelio P. Sanches, 35 years of legal age, married and
currently residing at #45 Sunny Hills, Brgy. Pit-os, Cebu City. I am
one of the police officers who responded at the scene of the crime on
August 25, 2014.
Where were you when you receive the call about a rape happening
in Brgy. Nasipit in Talamban, Cebu City?
At the police station, Maam.

Q3: From which station specifically did you receive the information?
A3: It was in Station 8, Maam, the nearest police station from Brgy.
Nasipit, Talamban.

From whom did you receive the call?

From a barangay peace and security officer, Maam, Mr. Leonardo
Dumlao since they were the first ones who got at the scene.

What did the barangay tanod reported?

I am the one who got to answer the call, Maam. He identified himself
as Mr. Leonardo Dumlao, head of the tanod in Brgy. Nasipit. He
stated that theres a rape scene that took place on the complainants
address and they told us to respond quickly since they had the rapist
in custody.

What about the victim?

He said that they have called a taxi to have the victim rushed to the
nearest hospital, at the Gullas Hospital. Then after the call Maam, we
rushed to the address given.

And who is the name of the victim Mr. Sanchez?

Miss Isabella Enriquez, Maam.

Can you describe what you saw at the crime scene?

Yes, Maam. The victim was on the floor. She had bruises and
scratches on her body. Her head was bleeding and she was
unconscious. When we got there, she was carried towards the taxi
because the blow in her head looks severe that they had to rush her
quickly to the hospital. She only had pieces of clothing covering her
private parts because the tanods and the neighbors covered her up.

Q12: What were the statements of Mr. Kho regarding the crime?
A12. He confessed Maam that he indeed raped the victim.
Q13: Can you possibly relate his statements based on the police records of
the investigation?
A13: In his statement, he said that he raped Miss Enriquez because he was
emotionally tormented and he could no longer hold his anger
towards her.

Q14: What was the reason of his anger?

A14: He said that Miss Enriquez kept on ignoring him, Maam.
