INTRODUCTION
A good knowledge of Organizational Behavior is important for all of us. This is because
we all are members of some kind of organizations. The smallest organization we belong
to is our family! In this course we will look at organizational behavior mainly from a
positive psychology point of view. That means that we will focus our attention on
creating, fostering and managing organizations in which people thrive and perform at
their best.
TEXT BOOK
Organizational Behavior, 10th ed., Hellriegel and Slocum, South-Western.
EXAMS
There will be THREE MULTIPLE CHOICE exams and a make-up exam* at the end
of the semester. The exam will be in the class and will last for 60 minutes. Please note
that the exam will be closed book and may not contain any bonus questions. Each exam
counts for 20% of your final grade.
*
Make-up-Exam [April 27th 2006], will be comprehensive in nature, is for those who have
missed one of the three exams. Please note that you should get permission from me to sit
for the make-up exam!
