The CCCNJ Weekly Prayer Requests

Scripture: “33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be
given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry
about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” (Matthew 6:33-34)
Weekly Theme: “The Visions of Church”
1. Pray that our church pastors, elders and coworkers have a burden of
building up God’s house (church), and have a vision of expanding God’s kingdom.
2. Pray that our church pastors, elders, and coworkers are all connected to our
Lord Christ, and have an attitude of working together in harmony according to the part of
the church body each member belongs to so that we can help and edify one another with
love.
3. Pray for the church planting, expansion, pastor search, and elders’
nomination.
4. Pray God to help us to work with Him to build our church with one united
mind,” Fellow-Workers with God, United to Build.” Pray God that we all have the same
vision of church planting for the growth of the church and the expansion of God’s
kingdom. Pray God that we can commit ourselves to serving our God with a mind of team
work, and are willing to care for one another so that God’s visions can be carried out, and
the gift of each individual coworker can be fully utilized by God.
5. Pray for the Mission organizations﹕ Chinese Christian Mission;
Missionaries﹕ Elder & Mrs. Chia-Shan Yang, and Seminary student﹕ Jim & Ruth
Lemaster; Also pray for the peace and safety of those brothers and sisters who are on
oversea short-term mission.

---English and Youth Ministry:

1. Pray for all Urbana ’09 attendees to move forward on the stir of the Holy Spirit.
2. Pray for all church leaders as they meet for the first time this year to make decision on many
important issues and plans for this year.
3. Pray for awareness of God’s presence in our daily life.
4. Pray for continue attendance of adult Sunday School ‘Truth Project’.
5. Pray for all 7 fellowship groups and the leaders. Pray that more people who are not in any
regular fellowship will come to attend.
--- Children Ministry:
1. Please pray for grades 1-5 Sunday school teachers: Shirley Fu, Connie Sun, Meiyu Loo,
Shirley Yao, Joceline Tseng.
2. Please pray for ages 4 & 5 Sunday school teachers: Tan Feng and Hsin-ping Ko; assistants:
Sarah Horng and Xinrong Zhao. Pray that the Lord give them strength as they plant the seeds of
children’s faith.
3. Please pray for all parents as they build good characters in their children, the Lord will give
them wisdom and patience.
--- People:
1. Health of the many who are suffering: Tim’s neck, Fenny’s spine, Mauro’s prostate cancer
treatment, Elder Lee’s heart and kidney, Anna Chau’s shoulder.
2. Job seeking: Fred, Jill, Rob, Fenny.
3. Pregnant Moms:, Wei, Fran, Ann.
4. New moms: Beverly, Jenny, Jennifer.

1. God use the survey sent from Obama to help the administration on the correct path.
