KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Credit risk officer will be responsible to perform business loan administration for quality
loan portfolio and follow up recovery of non performing and charged off loans.
To conduct periodical review of business loans in order to detect problem at an early stage
for timely corrective action..
To ensure that all terms and conditions of business loans are strictily adhered to during the
period of the facility until full repayment.
To review the conduct of loan accounts and raise alarm for unsatisfactory performance.
To follow up utilization of the approved credit line.
To conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually rating of business loans in accordance
with the bank's internal risk rating system
To review collaterals in terms of value and ensure that all necessary renewals for insurance
premiums, land rents, refreshment of guarantees etc are kept up to date.
To follow up legal recovery measures on stuck up, charged off and written off business
loans.
To Timely and accurately compile progress reports on business loans operations.
To conduct site visits to business premises of borrowers with problem loans to assess status
of their business and discuss with them on how to regularize their loan repayments.
To review business loan files on quarterly basis to ensure that all relevant documents are in
place.
To check on quarterly basis on whether held collaterals provide adequate coverage relative to
the borrower's current position.
To identify business loans for rescheduling/restructuring
To make regular follow up on stuck up business loans with a view to regularize them.
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
