Joel Surnow - Nikita TV Series
A writer and producer, Joel Surnow is well known for being the co-creator and executive producer of the action series
La Femme Nikita which is the original TV series that is widely known called Nikita (played by Maggie Q). Surnow
began writing for Miami Vice in 1984 and was then assigned to the Equalizer as a Supervising Producer.
La Femme Nikita was one of the top-rated drama for its first two seasons. Nikita borrows many traits from the
original and is considered to be the updated and further refined version.

Doug Liman Bourne Trilogy

A Producer and Director, Liman is known for his work- The Bourne Identity. After the first Bourne film was a
success, he remained with Bourne franchise directing the following two films. The Bourne Supremacy and The
Bourne Ultimatum. Doug Liman broke out with the film Swingers in 1996. Following up, he broke out with the
cult favourite Go before coming out with the huge Bourne franchise

Pierre Morel - Taken

A former cinematographer debuted as a director with District B13 has directed the film Taken which due to its
success has now become a sequel. Liam Neeson who plays the role of the protagonist has evolved from a long
respectful actor, into an international action star. Morel seems to direct and work with action, drama and thriller
films. Other than Taken and District B13, he has also directed the films The Transporter, The Transporter 2, The
Night Shift, The Killer and few still in production. Morel seems to direct and work with action, drama and thriller
films and this is why he is an appropriate director for research.
