observations [personal and otherwise]; most of the news isnt uplifting, however, as reflected in Rushs
unprecedented perseveration [in anguish]. First, it is necessary to debunk the cinema created by the
reportage of a Dem-split, for BHO got his priority and will, later-on, pay-off the lesser-concerns if
possible; he has done everything possible to transform America ASAP. Dem-Hypocrisy has been amply
documented, so a media-portrayal of balance was created by efforts to claim the two major insertions
by Boehner slighted libs [If the Government Shuts Down, Blame Nancy Pelosi for protesting
liberalization of Dodd-Frank banking rules] and truly angered conservatives [Tea party movement joined
Dems in fuming over campaign finance plan].
The structure of this Blast e-mail is to distill the electoral-import of what BHO has
done [grossly under-reported], then to provide the perceptions received overnight c/o
two readers [and my instant-reactions thereto], then to distill my postings aimed @
Mike Fitzpatrick [inclusive of destroying meek counter-arguments], next to summarize
what happened [from three disinterested perspectives] and, finally, to explore the
repercussions of what transpired.
Senator Mike Lee explained how Obamas Amnesty Gives Illegals A Fast-Track To the Voting Booth
Obamas amnesty allows illegals with U.S.-born children to briefly leave the country,
perhaps for a business meeting in Canada, and then be given advanced parole by
border officials that lets them legally return to the United States.
Once they have legally returned under advanced parole, they can be immediately
sponsored for a green card and citizenship by their adult child, he said.
That process bypasses U.S. law that requires illegals to leave the country for 10 years
before their U.S.-born adult children can sponsor them for citizenship.
My increasingly-fevered e-mails started [chronologically] with how I set the table in the prior Blast
e-mail:
All those people who refused last year even to CONSIDER a primary-challenge [because of their
friendship with Fitz] must now confront their consciences [and how he has abused their
senses of loyalty]. When I saw him a year ago @ the $-raising banquet for the Holocaust
Awareness Museum and Education Center, he muttered to me [sotto voce] that I should not do
anything I would later regret; I have no regrets for predicting he would betray the base when
voting to fund ObamaDontCare and, now, when poised to vote to fund Amnesty. [We politely
chatted a few months ago @ an event sponsored by the Republican Jewish Coalition at which
he, alas, demurred instead of adopting a pre-election forthright posture on Illegals.] Hope he
can be salvaged is fading rapidly, notwithstanding privately-received reassurances that he has
heard us.
I then remitted a series of communications focused on Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick to people who
might be able to help him to see the light. People on the bcc-list could invoke these data as
inspiration for whatever they might do, and people on the cc-list were derived from my having dustedoff a Blast e-mail list that had been cobbled-together more than a year ago; it had led to generation of

three Press-Releases that had reflected the conjoint-view [unique nationally] of the leaders [locally,
regionally, statewide, and nationally] of the major components of the TEA [Taxed Enough Already] Party
Movement regarding the initiative to defund ObamaDontCare (with Mike Vereb and Lois Kaneshiki
viewed as people others should note as having been recipients thereof). When Mike violated his
campaign-pledge to devote total-energies to fighting ObamaDontCare [repeal, defund, replace], I was
displeased and, frankly, carried the torch of this posture consistently and persistently thereafter. Now,
as chickens were returning home to roost, they were invoked to attempt to influence his behavior, as
per my initial salvo [when informed Mike could, perhaps, meet with us fat chance].
I care not what any other Congress-Person says or does; the focus is solely upon Mike,
and it seems there will be insufficient time prior to the vote to meet with him [as was
predictable].
Whatever give-and-take opinions that exist regarding last weeks show-vote are
IRRELEVANT [as per Heritage Foundation, and others]; the key-intervention is via the
PURSE.
He must not fund BHOs unconstitutional granting of Immunity to Millions of Illegals!
Thus, here is how I replied to Dave Sommers, Mikes confidant:

It is difficult if not impossible to force the Executive to enforce
immigration laws by cutting or rearranging the budget process.
Even if its difficult, it can be done; the key, here, is to STOP him from creating laws
that he wants to enforce [although it really would be nice to get him to uphold his oathof-office].
"Cutting" money from various ICE functions would only diminish their
capacity, would it not.
The only $ to be subject to "Cutting" would be that focused on one ICE function,
implementation of the unconstitutional Executive Order.

The only exception would be if Obama's budget specifically earmarks

money to, for example, help illegals cross the border .... or to violate
their visa.
Fine, Ill accept that exception that explicitly bans financing BHOs Amnesty [workcards being printed, etc.].
Congress has already (in previous budgets) designated set amounts of $
to Homeland Security - ICE .... and those agencies have capacity to
spend and move that designated $ around.
Yes, but THIS budget need not fund NEW cost-centers related specifically to
implementation of the Amnesty for MILLIONS.
I would suggest the way to stop these rogue ICE employees (and the ICE
administrators) from refusing to enforce our immigration laws would be
to threaten them with: firing ... impeachment .... contempt of Congress
This is a classic straw-dog argument; do anything else your heart desires, but DO NOT
FUND BHOS IMMUNITY!!!
Lastly, the continuing resolution passed today, regardless of what the
House Republicans can force thru, is a wholly inadequate platform with
which to stop this rogue President.
This argument is trite, used each time GOP-Leadership wanted to kick-the-can-downthe-road; the time to act is NOW, for a House-initiated funding-bill is THE perfectlyadequate platform to accomplish what most Americans want, notwithstanding the
rhetoric that hes a rogue [or worse].
Senate Democrats/Harry Reid are still able (until next month) to hold
this nation hostage by refusing to include GOP laws.
Fine, lets bring it on, with Americans totally behind us [as per the encyclical issued a
month ago, via a plebiscite that most viewed as a tsunami].
In January, it will become clear that it is Obama, and Obama alone, who
is the destructive force in this sordid scenario.
I care not about January and postulates related to the blame-game; the time to act is
NOW!

universal cheer emanating from the House-GOP after it initially passed bills that would
defund ObamaDontCare; although eroded [when the faux-Debt Ceiling Deadline was
deviously admixed and when I therefore argued that Congress could do nothingand
then allow all the tax-$ collected for ObamaDontCare to fund the debt], such an
atmosphere CAN be re-created IF Boehner reflects the will of the people and unifies
the GOP [perhaps, as never before] to DO THE RIGHT THING!

What specifically should congress cut .... or add .... that would force Obama to

The House should ADD an amendment that explicitly precludes funding any element of
what BHO [via ICE] has mandated via his Unconstitutional Executive Order [including, in
particular, the printing of work-permits].
Yes, does the budget resolution specifically authorize the printing of ss cards for
illegals?
If not, the only thing to do would be to add a rider specifically prohibiting yhe
printing of new green cards or ss cards.
As per my Blast e-mail that emerged @ 8:57 a.m., Boehner Omnibus Gives Social
Security Benefits To Illegal Aliens Under Obama Amnesty.
Im open to whatever rider you would envision that would accomplish these specific
purposes.
Next, I summarized a reformulated viewpoint, directed @ Mike:
Im going to be as direct as possible, gratified at the fact that a response was smokedout [perhaps from Boehners cigar-filled room].
We KNOW we cant force ICE to enforce the law, we KNOW the Senate is still Demcontrolled, we KNOW BHO will blame the GOP for a governmental mini-slow-down [of
~14% of governmental operations].
All of that is irrelevant; the focus is trained SOLELY on the Unconstitutional Executive
Order and the RESPONSIBILITY of Congress [specifically, the House] to initiate spendingbills.
We wanted to defund ObamaDontCare, and subsequent events vindicated our
rectitude, as even Dems claim its been a disaster; NOW, armed with the voters verdict,

we want to defund the avalanche of $-sucking Illegals, with implications on all levels of
American History hanging in the balance.
Mike, DO THE RIGHT THING!!!
Finally, I attempted to invoke nostalgia so as to provide a paradigm for how Mike might achieve a sense
of redemption:

Note this excerpt from Politico: "Congress Is About to Block the Feds from
Cracking Down on Medical Marijuana," by Tim Burger (!) for VICE: "Tucked at
the bottom of page 213 of the latest omnibus appropriations bill, a provision
states that '[n]one of the funds made available in this Act to the Department of
Justice may be used... to prevent such States from implementing their own
State laws that authorize the use, distribution, possession, or cultivation of
medical marijuana,' listing 32 states, as well as the District of Columbia, where
the amendment would apply. ... Nearly 50 percent of Americans now live in a
state or territory where medical marijuana is legal in some form."
Thus, an amendment could invoke identical lingo [None of the funds made available in
this Act to the Department of Homeland Security may be used...]; Im certain that Rep.
Trey Gowdy or Sen. Jeff Sessions could easily complete the sentence.

First, he claimed a Government shutdown would not stop Obama on immigration; the
focus was on defunding. Second, he claimed, If you're gonna start a bar fight, why

wouldnt you wait till you have all your people there to help; he forgot that irreversible
events could transpire in the interim.
A reader remitted overnight an e-mail focused on precisely what served as my target throughout
yesterday [vide infra], not having received any of the above:
Fitz is most likely smirking over his bamboozling of the local, spectacularly ineffective
Bucks County Tea Parties.
Same for Boehner and the Republicans who are far too liberal and therefore closer to
Obama than they publically admit.
The Republicans are not the friends some people think they are. They are just not
interested in being right-wing or supporting Israel. Plus they really like Obamacare. Its
socialist like they are.
Liberals like liberalism. Its a tautology but that means its correct and that the
Republicans are Liberals except for abortion.
Anyhow, the Left is still running and ruining America.

What the f*%# just happened in the House tonight! The Repubs had a chance to defund
this illegal amnesty travesty (our voices were heard in November, or so I thought) and
what do they do...vote for the 1.1T "ominous" bill. This is another goodie bag filled bill
(for both sides) that was not given proper time to be read or debated. The long-term
projection is going to be dire for conservatives and for the rest of the country. We are
not going to see another conservative dominated House/Senate, and any Repub that
will be nominated by the party for the Presidency will be a RINO. The conservatives who
expected our representatives to fight the progressive agenda in this bill should be
enraged that we did not defund the govt. until the bill was amended (after Jan. 2015).
Additionally, there is no chance in hell that the ACA will be repealed now.

How can we have a President making ad hoc legislation via the executive pen and allow

He channeled my angst, but he over-reached while ventilating disgust; it is now even more mandatory
to nominate Cruz/Walker [assuming Cruz approves of his foreign policy] for POTUS-16, an achievement
that can reasonably be anticipated; remember that the panoply of RINOs can easily be viewed as
[individually] inherently flawed [Bush, Christie, Martinez, Romney, Rubio, Ryan] and that other
competitors are has-beens [Huckabee, Santorum] and/or obscure [Brewer, Corker, Fiorina, Gilmore,
Graham, Jindal, King, Martinez, Perry, Pataki, Snyder]. Carson is inexperienced and bad on 2nd
Amendment, Bolton would be a great SoState, and Rand Paul is terrible on foreign policy [and has that
unshakable crazy father in the attic problem]; Walker can probably dominate two other governors
[although people tell me Pence is great and Kasich is OK] in the early semifinals component of the
race. One hopes that the field can be winnowed-down rapidly; once the establishment settles-in upon
its stalking-horse, it will be necessary to KO that individual and then breathe easier.
Otherwise, he was totally on-point, particularly with regard to how totally detached the
political parties have become from what the Founders/Framers had envisioned.
This is what transpired [c/o the National Journal, the National Review, and The Hill (respectively)]:
House Republican [LEADERSHIP] narrowly cleared a major hurdle Thursday morning in
their race for the exits, winning a key procedural vote on a massive spending bill to keep
the government afloat. Passage of the rule governing debate for the "CROmnibus" bill
by a razor-thin 214-212 margin means that the measure can come up for what should
be an easier final vote Thursday afternoon. The rule passed only after two Republicans,
Reps. Kerry Bentivolio and Marlin Stutzman, were persuaded by leaders to switch their
votes from no to yes. Every Democrat voted against the rule, but several are expected
to back the underlying bill. Still, GOP leaders are considering a fallback plan to bring up a
shorter continuing resolution if the larger bill fails to pass Thursday.
Earlier today, House Republican Leaders barely escaped having the procedural "rule"
setting up debate on the CRomnibus voted down. Conservative stalwarts refused to
enable this flawed legislation from coming to the floor. Unfortunately, the
circumstances surrounding that vote are now suspect. National Review is reporting that
certain Representatives were promised that the cromnibus would be pulled
immediately if they voted with their Leadership. That promise appears to have been
discarded and Barack Obama is now personally calling lawmakers asking for their
support. This is no way to run the House of Representatives.
The White House backs the bill and has mounted an intense campaign to save it that
included a trip by White House chief of staff Denis McDonough to Capitol Hill. President
Obama and members of his administration have been furiously working the phones to
try and save the funding bill ahead of a government shutdown at midnight.
This is how an organizer for Phillys Tea Party Patriots concisely conceptualized the situation:
There is nothing in this bill that limits the executive amnesty action.

The Department of Homeland Security is being funded through February 27, 2015.
The administration will take quick steps to award contracts for execution of executive
amnesty and begin the process before February.
The administration has already contracted for a facility in Crystal City and advertized
1000 positions to manage the amnesty program.
Once there is a structure in place and registration begins, there is no way of reversing it.

So the question, assuming you have a short-term perspective of 2016, is whether they
are being fast-tracked from green card to citizenship. If your concern truly is elections,
you can't vote with just a green card. What exactly does the language in the bill say?
Also, while it is a lot of people, apparently the policy is limited to adults who have kids
with green cards or citizenship.
I can support actions that strongly enforce the border moving forward. But, rational
policies must be adopted to deal with the clear reality of the people already here. I do
not favor deporting them all. Forget the social (family and humanitarian) issues for now
- it is not a practical solution. I understand (although I do not fully agree with) the desire
not to fast-track citizenship.
Perhaps a compromise is making the path from green card to citizenship different /
harder. Maybe, there are tweaks in what benefits are permissible under a green card.
All of that is different from a stance that favors mass deportation.

The GOP: For Wall Street, Not Main Street - Sixteen Republicans voted against the rule
on the CROmnibus. They threw the process into chaos and sent Republican leaders
scrambling. Barack Obama had to send his Chief of Staff up to the Hill to convince
Democrats to go along with it. And ultimately we got a clear picture of where
Republican leaders stand. They headed to the edge of the shutdown cliff, willing to shut
down the government for a Wall Street bailout, but unwilling to do so to stop the
Presidents amnesty plan.
