Work Experience
Operations Engineer
Currently working as an operations engineer at Urea Utilities plant of Engro Fertilizers Limited.
Snamprogetti ammonia stripping technology based urea plant having design capacity of 3835 MTPD.
Utilities include Nitrogen plant, Air compressors, RO / Demin & Polished water units, Giant cooling tower
and an electro-chlorination unit. Major responsibilities include smooth & safe shift operation, improvement
in steam consumption, manpower handling, permit issuance for daily maintenance activities, maintaining
specified or design product quality, emergency handling, guidance to subordinates and operators,
participating in Process hazard analysis, Job safety analysis, Pre-startup and safety reviews, procedure
update activities.

Training & Safety Engineer

Previously worked as Training & Safety Engineer with Engro Fertilizers Limited. Role of training engineer is
to improve training mechanism of Engineers and employees based on their training need analysis (TNA)
covered under PSRM element Personnel training & performance, identifying gaps and making according
plans to improve skill level of individuals. Moreover, lead role in hiring of plant operators and technicians
from all over Pakistan, planning & coordination for engineering internships & yearly graduate engineer
trainings. Follow up for training plan compliance and stewardship of site knowledge index through a
defined Training KPI tool. Evaluating & maintaining document of personnel change and suggests
management for cross movement trainings and back up plans. Supporting for Job Qualification Program
(JQP) which is a learning enhancement and incentive program for operators and technicians.
As a safety engineer make quality checks for management safety audits (MSA), stewardship of site injury
analysis, Participating in PSRM audits & other safety initiatives like I WORK SAFE, Driving Safety, Say No to
Tobacco, Implementing Safe Work practices. Participating in safety committees like Incident investigation
and recommendation, Emergency response and planning. Developing Site HSE plan and maintaining Total
recordable injury rate (TRIR). Planning and coordination for weekly and quarterly drills. Participated to
achieve Level 4 in Du-Pont Safety Systems.

Shipment & Warehouse Engineer

Worked at Product Movement & Storage section of Engro Fertilizers Limited. Major responsibilities include
smooth flow of shipment without product dumping and any safety concern. Participated in commissioning
of 1.3 MT / annum urea bagging unit, implementation of trucking Management system, commissioning of
fines loading facility. Follow up till completion for CAPEX based projects. Conducted employees appraisal.
Issuing daily production report, investigating product quality complaints, maintaining urea dumping report,
performed the responsibility of deputy squad leader in case of emergency

Process Engineer
Worked as a process engineer utilities in Process Engineering section of Engro Fertilizers Limited and
participated in commissioning of Onsite/ Offsite water treatment and cooling facilities. Major
responsibilities include reviewing of vendor designs and implementing proposed suggestions, development
of process specifications, updation of P&IDs as per modification, aligning for chemical dosing program for
Reverse osmosis & cooling tower. Participated in HAZOP of onsite water treatment, media loading for
depth filtration, ion exchange & mix bed units. Design of temporary hypo & bromine dosing skid. Design of
fire detection and suppression system (Inergen system) based on NFPA -2008 guidelines.
