Threat Of Islamic Radical Trans-national Movement to the

National Sovereignty
Recently, the international community turned to a phenomenon in middle east countries, This
phenomenon is called by the world as Arab Springs. Starting from a people's protests of the Arab
countries against their rulers who ruled as dictator, the action was expand to the armed rebellion.
Based on the spirit-breath fighting of Islam that is called as the spirit of jihad fi sabilillah, the
rebellions sweeping across the Arab countries. Unfortunately after the Rulers were deposed, the
rebellion not also going to dissapear even its began to lead to a movement of terrorism that
threaten. This is proved by establishment of a radical Islamic movement that tried to establish an
Islamic state in Syria and Iraq who call themselves ISIS. The Growing of Islamic radical movement in
middle east can spread to other country especially country with muslim peoples and threating the
national sovereignty in several ways.
There is something more powerfull beyond the gun or weapon to crush the other country that is
Ideology. Through its radical ideology which is more leads to violence, Islamic radical movement can
break the unity of the country. Their radical ideology assume that person outside their group is
wrong and should follow their believes or being destroyed by them. Then with this condition peoples
is divided into a groups that warring each other. View country in middle east got separated such as
Suriah, Iraq and Yaman then the civil war is spread across the country. Analysts said the entire
country faces a major challenge to overcome the growing radical ideology especially among young
people, who still have unstable mentality.
Because Radical movement refused other kind of viewpoint and only said that they are the right one,
it makes them intolerant peoples. They will destroy the diversity inside the the country and also its
culture. The culture that only right in their vision is their own culture, other culture will be
probihited and marked as heretic culture. This condition is called coercion of homogen culture. As
reported by BBC, ISIS believe that paying homage to the tombs or religious site contrary to the
teachings of Islam. ISIS even did not hesitate to blow up the mosques that are not approved by their
group. Iraq's Ministry of Culture pointed out that the aim of ISIS is to remove the cities identity in the
country.
Radical Movement also triggered terrorism inside the country. To showed their existance and
disagreement with other kind that opposite to their believes, they will attack strategic places and
public area with dengerous attack like massive gun shooting or suicide boombing. Like happens in
Iraq, Suriah, Lebanon, and Afghanistan since the Islamic radical movements were ruled in those
countries. These action cause insecurity to the people inside the country and make many innocense
peoples died. Therefore, terrorism is a crime against humanity.
With all of threat that can be caused by this movement is very dengerous to sovereignty of the
nation. So can be conclude that Islamic radical trans-national movement should be avoid and abolish
to maintain the stability of country. This task is not only doing by the government, but also the entire
peoples. Eventhough theyre always using Islam and Allah as their reason but this action is very
contradictive to islamic teachings which is appreciate the differences and as a bless to the all
universe.
