.All lecture Notes are to be arranged unit wise as per the main performa
All lecture notes must have source of information including text book with page number if any, reference book
or any paper from journals so that students can be benefited from the same.
It is suggested that a lecture note of a descriptive topic can be 1 to 4 normal pages / lecture containing
important definitions, connected theories, scientific discoveries, historical events, practical significance &
applications and all other salient points of the topic.
It is preferred that these lectures are supported by figures, tables, graphs and PPT.
In case of Mathematical or Numerical subject lecture note should contain, important definitions, assumptions,
derivations, related figures and at least 1or more numerical problems to be covered in class. PPT of these
lectures will be preferred. Numerical problems solved in the class should be different from solved examples
available in the text books and examples given in the tutorial sheets.
At the end of each unit a lecture on a topic beyond the syllabus covering advancements should be prepared and
delivered

Tutorial sheet is related to the topics covered in lectures during the week as per scheme of study
This sheet is to be given to the students at least one week in advance from the scheduled date of tutorial
Each tutorial sheet must contain at least 10 problems for 1 period tutorial. In case of tutorial periods more
than per week the number of problems should be increased in proportion to the tutorial periods.
In case the number of sections are more than 1 for the same subject a common tutorial sheet can be
prepared for a maximum 4 sections.
Students are at liberty to prepare all questions at home, but teacher will at random give three questions
during tutorial period from the tutorial sheet and evaluate the students during the tutorial period on the
basis of these three questions only.
